Darth Groovy
I have to say Adobe Pagemaker 7 is the worst program ever created. The fonts don't work, the resolution gets shaddy, when you open it, the template wizards start automatically. It doesnt work well on other pcs, I cannot concieve how Adobe, the creators of such great programs such as Illustrator 10 and Photoshop 7, could make something so bad. I had an art project, where we had to use it to make stationary, a business card and corporate envelope. The progam is limmited to creative input, and often you have to change your files over to Adobe Acrobat format just to get a decent print copy. The teacher said we HAD to use this program, but the class was unanimous that this program blows. What program have you used that you deem the worst? Post your gripes here boys and girls. Boba Rhett
I think my mind has blocked out a lot of things because the only thing coming to my mind right now is the game Superman which I'll consider a program because it was more of a program than a game. ShockV1.89
Hm. I'd have to say RealPlayer. It never works completely right, it's always rebuffering it keeps asking me to buy Real-One, and it always rapes my startup config file with its realsched.exe file. Kazaa is pretty bad. Chock full o' spyware! But I'd have to say the worst program is whatever one runs that Bonzi Buddy guy. Arrrgh!

Once, RealPlayer ruined my computer, so I had to reinstall everything. I have not installed it since.
Luc Solar
Pool Of Radiance II. It had a cute bug: when uninstalling the joke-of-a-game it managed to screw up your windows/system. Basically that meant having to "format c:". Awesome game, though. Gotta love the fact that the dice rolls were skewed in the favour of the monsters. LMAO! Darth Groovy
Yeah I don't like Realplayer either. When I got my new rig, I made a point to use Mediaplayer for all the video, and most of my music playing needs. I use Musicmatch for recording and ripping CDs. swphreak
hmm.. no one likes realplayer. Is RealJukebox ok, or should I unistal it and use WMP? It hasn't screwed up for me yet. Kazaa is the worst I've encountered. Had so much spyware it took me a week to unistal it completely and rid of the leftover spy****. Save or it might be called WhenU is the second. i think it came with the Big K. Whenever I went to amazon.com or some other shoping site, it would pop-up with some gay coupon. I've uninstalledit from my control panel, but I think that was a fake because when I searched for a driver to replace, I found it again in a windows system file. unistalled it from there and "purified" the the area, and it hasn't poped-up since. StormHammer
I'm not surprised Pagemaker is a bit naff...wasn't it originally designed just to handle books? I use Corel DRAW for doing things like stationery, etc. You get a lot more control over graphics, fonts, etc. For any DTP work I just use MS Publisher...largely because it came on the disks with Office... Anyway...the worst program I've used? Hard to say...I've used so many over the years...
Psyk0Sith
The worst was in DOS mode, some kind of accountant software a guy needed for his auto repair shop, asked me how it looked... Complete piece of crap, not friendly user at all and colors were horrible (half an hour looking at it would cause violent actions by the user...like hitting and screaming at the computer ). I told him to buy a real computer and a real software and he's glad he did.

svösh
I hate everything MAC (crap) os 6, os 7, os 8, os 9, oh and osX , QuickTime takes control over video settings and others. Kazaa, but the cracked version Kazaalite (no spy ware) is good Aol sucks! They are so desperate for clients they send out cd’s in the mail hopping to get some poor sap hooked on their version of the internet HA ( aol keyword* the same as you would type in any search engine ) LAME. Realplayer takes over your all music settings adds in useless files and play lists all over the place Pagemaker we used to call it page crapper at work every time we had to use it, it would ruined something and we went to Quarkxpress to get it done And my most recent is JK Radiant no support, never able to compile a bsp (damn) Nice post guys:) svösh
