txa1265
There are few genres of gaming (wrestling would be one) that interest me less ... and the thought of subscribing to something I have absolutely no interest in, is absolutely abhorrent. IG-64
I played a bit of SWG and didnt play anymore. I'm planning on getting another MMORPG game in the future. City of Heroes and Middle Earth Online look ok, but so far what i've heard, Matrix Online is where its at. Btw, something i've always noticed, is in an austrailan thing to put spaces before question marks or exclamation points ? Because you've always done that... Alegis
i've played several, but those we're all open-betas or trials...or just free ones. I'm happy like that I play one now and then

Kain
Well lets see, I could play some MMORPG and get annoyed to Hell with all the little haXX0r talking and ****ing retarted kids with there little maphacks and other cheat BULL**** or I could chew on glass while having my hand hammed to a large slab of concrete with rusty nails and a sledgehammer... I chose the latter...

MysticSpade
the only MMORPG i will ever play is Matrix Online i have only heard good things about this. the only down side i know of is the character models. But i love the ability to customizing your own person. City of Heroes caught my attention as well but i'm not too sure about the gameplay for that one. Sivy
nope, haven't played any... and have no intention of doing so. i don't like the fact that you have to buy the game for like £40 ($70) and then have to pay a subscription to play it. i don't really have enough time to play them anyway. i only play on my computer a couple of hours a day so i don't think its worth it. Pad
Never played any is its mostly not my genre. That and the nice fee you have to pay monthly, make those games not on my wanted list.
ET Warrior
You need an option "I play the betas and I love them but I'm too broke from college to pay once the actual game starts going" Because that's me. Without a monthly fee I would be all MMORPG all the time.

Master_Keralys
Have not am not will not. Meh, not my thing either, Siv. I'm not going to pay when I'd only be playing a few hours a week; I've got way too much homework and other stuff to have time for it. Besides, my puny 56k modem would not do well with it. Black Knight of Keno
Runescape's the one for me. I've tried a few others but those were just crappy html or text based. I don't really have any mobney for good games like Everquest online or anything like that... bummer
Pnut_Man
SWG was the only one I 'tried' (meaning I didn't become some 1337 super 1,000,000,000 exp Master Bounty Hunter--only played an hour every once in a while, and that hour usually went by damn quickly). My reaction to SWG has made me vow to never again waste money on a MM-Skill-less-ORPG (There wasn't even much roleplaying, and if there was any, it usually was as rare as having a lag-free moment in Coronet.) I depise SWG, I depise Sony, and I despise their lie-filled advertisements.
Sam
You picked a crappy game to start with. SWG is by far the worst MMORPG I have ever played.

I didnt put that in the options deliberately, I wanted to focus on preferences, not the diminished capital resources of undergraduate swampies. The 'never' or 'every now and then' option is fine for ppl in that category. Really, even those of us w income arent exactly thrilled by the idea of paying for a game over and over.....(like Siv said) mtfbwya
Taos
I played SWG and I enjoyed it. Only problem was that I found myself addicted and playing it a bit too much. Something I never really expected to happen. I had a lot of fun times, though I do agree with some of the negatives about it. What I do miss is hanging out and playing with other people, that's why I got hooked in the first place I think. I just don't have the time to do that anymore. Oh well...
