Darth Groovy
Looks like the critics are digging it. I thought it would tank, but looks like I was wrong. Anybody thinking about seeing this? I am not quite sure yet. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/i_robot/
ET Warrior
I'm going to watch it with an open mind, hopefully it'll be okay, Will Smith is a pretty decent action star. The only thing that I dont like is that they seem to have shown us pretty much the entire movie in the previews....I wish they would have left some more to the imagination. Tyrion
I dunno how much I'll like it, from the trailers it seems to butcher the entire point of the book.

I saw something that said that if you don't think about the source material you might be able to enjoy it - in other words, as said on AICN, think of it as iRobot, and not I, Robot. The 'freshness' is dropping, but I think that people like it as much as they did is because - as stated in so many of the reviews - they expected it to absolutely *suck*, and it didn't, it was just a typical big-boom, Will Smith mugging and wise-cracking, mindless popcorn flick good to waste an afternoon. Alegis
Seems to be better Well hitting the theaters soon...if spidey 2 is full i'd check this one
Mike Windu
Personally I thought it would be good, and I'm probably going to go see it before I head off to Florida.
Yoda_623
I figured it would be a bust too. I've definitley seen it promoted enough though.
Troopr-Undr-Fir
I'm swaying... I love Will, but I I don't really like the premise for the movie So, if I'm at sunset station, I might check it out...and also catch spidey 2, again If ya know what I mean
Astrotoy7
yeah, the wizard who came up with the title did no favours for the movie. I find the title off-putting, Until recently, I thought the Fresh Prince himself was the freakin robot.... (plz let me know if he is meant to be a robot too ) freakin robots, the only cool robots are : *Original Lost in Space Robot *Kryten from 'Red Dwarf'(UK sci fi sitcom) *R2-d2 w00t !!! *chick terminator from t3, only when nekked tho mtfbwya
Taos
For me it looks to be a rental at best. I've just never been a big Will Smith fan....*shrugs*

Acrylic
I'm surprised to hear that this movie got good ratings. It looks like it would turn out to be another men in black 2 (which sucked) but turned out to be a good movie. So, if this movie is better than men in black (which IMO is W.S.'s best role), then Ill be content.
legameboy
I'm gonna see this movie soon with my cousin. Thanks for the good review.

IG-64
Well, my view of it was kinda dampened by the imense amount of advertising! Seriously, all i've seen is I, Robot all this month. Went to the mall, all on the celing, hanging form the roof of the mall, I, Robot posters everywhere, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Alegis
they gave billions for advertising...Paris was full with it
obi
I have no desire to see this movie. In fact, Will Smith is probably one of the worst actors ever. The only movie halfway decent was "bad boys." I might see it when it hits the cheap theater, I dunno. I might see it against my will.
Mike Windu
Yeah, I heard it was good. I'll review anchorman and I, Robot when I get back from vacation. Chase you can handle all the reviews till then ^_^ Nice review though. will smith's @$$ Would you have preferred Brad Pitt's @$$ in Troy?
coupes.
I didn't hear a hole lot about this movie... I saw a short 'behind the scenes' kinda thing the other day, but that's about it. I might just go see this one !
Alegis
or neo's a$$. Whats with the damn asses, when we want to see nude we do NOT wish to see asses. You're making more hetero guys unhappy than gay people happy

Mike Windu
I don't like movies that just have nudity for no apparant reason. It downgrades the movie. Now, movies like American Pie however.... Anyways: I was wondering why Chase didn't just post in your thread. Poor Grooveh.
RpTheHotrod
EXCELLENT FILM. Minus the pointless nudity Seriously though...interesting enough to keep you watching, suspense to keep you wondering, and a coolness factor that reminds you of system shock 2 W00t!
