TiE23 Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Is so purdy. :3 I saw like three dozen people at PAX with those things in their bags. Crazy Street Fighter peoples. Crazy!
IG-64 Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I played Tekken on an arcade a long time ago, and I have to admit, it was pretty cool. There's something about all those buttons that makes you "weeee, this is fun :D"
Commander Obi-Wan Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I've got tickets to see these mother****ers in October with Deftones. On Tuesday, I went to see Killswitch Engage, In Flames, and Protest The Hero. ****ing awesome. Meet Protest The Hero. They definitely have to be my favourite band right now and bought this bad ass shirt. Eventually I hope to get their other shirts, with Hades and Boreas.
DarthDie Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Aw you lucky duck , PTH had been playing right next to me recently but it was at a bar and since I'm under 18...I couldn't go. I bought the PTH 3 shirt pack that had that shirt + the other 2, they're really cool and I wear them all the time .
Commander Obi-Wan Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Oh yeah. They also have another shirt for their new live CD/DVD, Gallop Meets The Earth. It's yellow, and pretty much looks like the album cover. Unforunately, the pre-order to get the shirt with it is over. But, you can still buy it by itself.
Nerd_Annhilator Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I just bought an old school 4th generation 20gb ipod for 60 bucks. (the black and white screen one...how i miss it) That + Rockbox = awesomeness.
Samuel Dravis Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Cookie monster T-shirt Sputnik t-shirt Linksys WRT54GL wireless router, much better than the rental crap. Concert today by the Will Evans Project, concert on the 19th some relatively famous local bands, including two of my favorites, Motel Aviv and The Black and White Years.
TiE23 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Just bought Batman: Arkham Asylum game on Steam. Better graphics, PhysX support, and Windows Live (achievements) made it the obvious choice.

BongoBob Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Rodrigo Y Gabriela - re-Foc, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, and 11:11. Absolutely amazing stuff.
TiE23 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Figuring out the new Zune 4.0 software. Despite some weird assed bugs, the thing is amazing when it's working properly. I had to work for an hour just to get it installed. Had to build my entire catalog three times, my podcasts are still a little sketchy, and it has a tendency to display all of my music twice at random moments (which leads to the deleting of the library and re-importation). But I just figured out how to use Smart DJ playlists. It's basically the magic that is Pandora, but it downloads the Pandora list 30 songs deep (as many more or less if you want) and keeps them on your computer and device, and it updates itself regularly. You can also change it to build a list of similar songs you already have in your possession (makes it easy to build good themed playlists), to either contain old and new, or just new stuff that you've never heard before from it's online catalog Also, with a Zune Pass, you can stream any song you want from their website alone, so that's cool. It's nice, too. When using Pandora, if you ever find a song you like a lot, you either A) Spend money and actually buy it, or B) Just torrent the damn thing. But with this Zune pass **** I just right click and download the entire album right there, you know... legally. I know I sound like an infomercial, but it's just my experience. I mean, really. I just downloaded around $300 in music in half an hour. And hell, my brother and sister are doing the same thing with their Zunes and computers. $5 a person a month... And then 10 free songs. Edit: Rodrigo Y Gabriela - re-Foc, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, and 11:11. Absolutely amazing stuff. QFT
acdcfanbill Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Cool, I didn't even know a new Rodrigo y Gabriela album was in the works! And it looks like Alex Skolnick guests on it too!

MrWally Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I invited you to my Grad Party, Dath (and had to endure my mother questioning me about the strange man on my event page asking if there were going to be hookers and booze), so I better get an invite to the wedding!
