El Sitherino
1. Titanic (probably the crappiest movie ever.) 2. Fast and the Furious 1 & 2 + XXX (had to squeeze XXX in) 3. The Matrix(the entire series) 4. Forrest Gump 5. Open Water 6. Pearl Harbor 7. The Blair Witch 1 &2 8. The Ring 9. The Passion of the Christ 10. Requiem for a Dream I'm curious to see what my fellow swampies think are the top ten worst movies (or series) are.
BigTeddyPaul
Those are your worst 10 movies of all time? Either you have only seen less than 50 movies in your life or we don't have the same tast in movies at all. In no real order: 1. Showgirls 2. Gigli - Yes I watched this crap. 4 AM and I had Starz. 3. Crossroads - Brittany Spears - look at Gigli. 4. From Justin Meets Kelly - OY!!! 5. Battlefield Earth 6. Rollerball 7. Corky Romano - I chuckled slightly once through the whole movie 8. Mr. Wrong - Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Pullman. 9. Glitter - I actually wanted to kill myself after it was over. 10. Barb Wire - Poor excuse to see Pam's bubbies. Special Note: 1. Master of Disguise - I never laughed and was only tollerable because of Jennifer Esposito 2. Kazaam - I realize it stars Shaq but I didn't even like it when I was younger and I liked eating dirt. 3. Dumb and Dumberer BTP
El Sitherino
nah, I just felt they needed to be addressed more so than obviously bad ones. I hate those movies too, but they're just too obvious to be mentioned. plus, I never saw crossroads, I despise Britney Spears. Never saw showgirls, mr. wrong, Glitter, or dumb and dumberer. So naturally I can't mention them. I didn't seen them because I knew they'd suck.
ZBomber
I thought the Matrix was really good. Revolutions and Reloaded were a little iffy though. And I'm not a big movie-goer. The only movies I've seen listed are Matrix, Titanic, and the Passion. I thought the Passion was good if you were a religious person. If not, you really don't care about it and it might seem like a crappy movie. (What with all the reading and stuff)
Crazy_dog no.3
Apart from no. 1, in no particular order: 1- Caligula (tries to be a serious historical film, really just hardcore porn) 2- Battlefield Earth 3- The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 4- Freddy Got Fingered 5- American Pie 2 6- Starship Troopers 7- Collateral Damage 8- Hulk 9- Robocop 3 10- MacBeth (Roman Polanski version)

(What with all the reading and stuff) I dunno, last time I checked, jesus wasn't a super hero. Seriously all through the movie I just kept expecting him to shoot beams out of his eyes and totally fly off dropping people to their deaths. And it totally forgot the whole part about jesus coming back. Which was really the major part to his story. If you're religious and liked that movie I feel you should actually be rather ashamed. The Passion is the act for which Jesus died for us. The Passion does not include the reseruction, that would be Easter. And, I dunno, maybe you went to the movie expecting that. I dunno how you could get that, since it showed Jesus in his weakest moments. (The Crucifixion, the whipping, the garden etc) I didn't think that at all, I found it pretty moving actually. Crazy_dog no.3
You can name a MacBeth adaptation that's actually worse than the Polanski version? I was forced to watch in in year 9 (I think that's 10th grade for all you Yanks) at school, and apart from the actual storyline itself as well as the unintentional comedy, there was nothing good to say about the film. The acting made Keanu Reeves look like Marlon Brando, the gore looked fake, the sets and costumes were done on a budget (if you don't have enough money to make a historical film, don't try), the music seemed to be composed by a retarded four year old using a keyboard and could they have picked a more boring area of Scotland to film in? TheOutrider
Really I don't watch movies that don't look interesting to me, but I kinda did think The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen sucked and heres why. You could not hear the peoples voices over the music, besides the fact the music sucked. The action wasn't all that good.

Pad
Let´s just say that almost all "Hollywood" productions seem to be a complete failure to me. They may be able to please the "big" crowd but that doesn´t apply to me. And sithey, go get your head examined . Requiem for a dream IS a good movie. Same goes for blair witch 1. BigTeddyPaul
Originally posted by Prime Wing Commander Just say anything that stars Freddie Jr sucks the big one. D&D totally blew my mind in how horrible a movie with such rich background could be. I seriously think I could have pulled actors from a local community theater and made a better product. That and the fact that those things were supposed to be elves and dwarfs didn't even pull me into that realm at all. Reign of Fire was just bad. Spawn was more a disappointment than anything. It is like they couldn't figure out which direction they wanted to take the movie (pure hard-core or to the throngs of youngins). Cable Guy is a good movie. It just got such bad vibes from everyone because JC got paid $20 million for it and at that time was the most ever. I didn't realize how many people here didn't like Matrix. Could someone tell me why. Insane said something about it not being unique (which is true in its own way) and that if you take away the graphics it would be a crap series. I have taken plenty of philosophy classes myself and that is now a must see because I think the professors don't think we read. I enjoy lots of the hidden meanings and symbols and stuff. I guess it is just me. BTP
Mike Windu
I liked Pearl Harbor... and Matrix... (not so much the sequels), Titanic I saw when I was younger, funny story, even more funny when the survivors hit the rotator fan trying to jump. Also thought Fast and the Furious 1 was cool. 2 had a crap story but the driving was pretty cool... plus it had Jin in it. ^_^ Sithy's list seems to just stir up controversy for controversy's sake. The Passion? Forrest Gump? 1) Shazam not Kazam. 2) Spawn 3) Mortal Kombat: Annihilation 4) Dungeons and Dragons 5) Cradle to the Grave (no. DMX go back to rapping. You are not Jet Li) 6) King Arthur (save for some cool action sequences, rather bland plot. It's only because I can't think of more that I put this in here ) 7) Atlantis 2: Milo's Return 8) Any generic Disney sequel save for Aladdin's sequels and Lion King (yes, I did enjoy Lion King 2 ) 9) The Tuxedo and The Medallion (Jackie, come on pal. Come back to us) 10) Pokemon 3 and beyond. >_> <_< Honorable Mention: Hero What the hell man. Stiff action and semi dorky/overdone acting overshadow the better points in this film: i.e. art direction. Crouching Tiger this is not.
