lukeiamyourdad Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 http://www.retrojunk.com/ I don't know if this has been posted yet in the past, but for you people who are old enough to remember these shows, here's a way to be nostalgic.
BongoBob Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Come on in, into the place that fun never ends, come on in, it's time to party with garfield and friends. Garfield and friends! HOLY SHEET BATMAN THIS SITE ROCKS!
Troopr-Undr-Fir Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 Holy crap, CRITTERS!!! Probably one of the scariest movies I watched as a child w00t, Dinosaurs... "I'm da baby. gotta love me!" it makes me sad that my friends don't remember any of this... Or maybe it's rage and I should stab them all.
Mike Windu Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 "You some kind of punker? I hate punkers." ~ Casey Jones GO TMNT! I'm going to kill whoever came up with that F**KING FLY SWATTING AD
Tyrion Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 Originally posted by Mike Windu I'm going to kill whoever came up with that F**KING FLY SWATTING AD What's worse is that I'm using Foobar2000 with Kernal Streaming output so anytime a sound is played(like the fly ad) it stops the music. And in return, I'll help you stop the music of those MOTHER FKING AD PEOPLE! On topic, anybody else remember Alone in the Dark, Rocko's Modern Life, and Darkwing Duck? Those were the shows I grew up on, damnit.
XERXES Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 Last night I was posting and heard the fly, I kept swatting the air thinking "damn it, theres a fly down here again!" So I got up turned the lights on so I could see better. Couldnt find the damn thing. Then I looked back over at the PC...

Sivy Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 some great film trailers. like weird science, what a great film that was. two 15 year old boys make a woman with a computer, a modem and a barbie doll
Mike Windu Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 Rocko's Modern Life was good. I watch it on Nicktoons TV (24 hr cartoon channel of Nick stuff) Darkwing Duck... ah... I never watched it, but I always tried to. Still remember being excited at its commercials... Alone in the Dark scared the **** outta me... Captain Planet... he's a hero... gonna bring pollution down to zero... I hated that guy.

IG-64 Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 My sister was obsessed with darkwing duck I never watched alone in the dark, I think I remember the commercials for it though, was like.. a burned out candle or something. I would pull up that thread where everyone listed all their favorite old shows, but THEY DISABLED THE SEARCH AGAIN. "Sorry. The search function has been disabled by the administrator." Man, that's more annoying than "Sorry. You are not a winner. Please try again." [EDIT] Btw, just wanted to add that I totally agree with the title of this thread. TV has gone downhill very fast. Barely any reason to watch it anymore.
El Sitherino Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I'm gonna go pull out my "are you afraid of the dark" VHS'. I loved that show, and "Eerie, Indiana".
ET Warrior Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I wouldn't complain about search being disabled. There's been such an influx of people, most likely due to Republic Commando's imminent release, the servers been down enough as it is. If search was enabled we'd NEVER get to post
El Sitherino Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I just picked up on something, I see some of you talking about "Alone in The Dark" that was an arcade game in the 80's, not a show. The show you're thinking of is called "Are You Afraid of The Dark". Sith:1 everyone else:0 And how about you search through pages instead of being lazy. Always with the robot abuse, you people.
ckcsaber Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 The Adventures of Pete & Pete on DVD link Kick ass. I loved this show.

I knew Alone in the Dark didn't sound right, but I couldn't put my finger on it. And, I tried, but I got tired of it after about 5 minutes. And I figured i'd just pass it up 5000 times because I don't remember the title of the thread.
Alegis Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Oh the theme songs section... With your powers combined I am captain Planet!
acdcfanbill Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 ahhh, macguiver theme, that show was totally awesome, i'll have to get aroudn to getting the first season now that its out

Mex Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I would love to watch them, if my computer didn't die when I ran any of the videos.
Vikinor Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 TV is fun now. Wait I only watch it when there is nothing else to do, but it is still fun. Like late at night on Cartoon Network Adult Swim comes on showing some funny cartoons like Aqua Teen Hunger FORCE or action ones like....uh I'm not so sure about action but theres cool anime shows like Inu-Yasha and Ghost In The Shell. (waits for all the people to disagree)
lukeiamyourdad Posted February 26, 2005 Author Posted February 26, 2005 That's the thing. It's late night. Most of these shows are saturday morning cartoons. See the difference?
