Gotta go with Spider-Man :D

One of the best Comic-->Movie renditions I've seen. They stuck to the storyline (somewhat... damn web-shooters  ) and really portrayed the story of the "man behind the mask" rather than all of it being dedicated to the Super-hero part.

Great cast, good acting.. and well, I'm a Spider-Man nut... hehehe..

X-men would probably get my second vote though ;)

I can't vote because I'm split between X-Men and Spiderman. Both are awsomeness incarnate.

Spiderman was, many consider, the best done superhero movie. I really felt the movie was more about Peter Parker that Spiderman. You actually care about him. I'm ready for Spiderman 3. I just hope, however many movies they do, Tobey Maguire plays Peter/Spidey.

X-Men was just badarse. I'm a huge Patrick Stewart fan. I don't think anyone could play Prof X better. Hugh Jackman owns as Wolverine. Anna Paquine is just so damn cute! Ian McKellen is a truely wonderful actor. Pretty much the whole cast is good.

The Patrick Stewart/Ian McKellen scenes should be required viewing for acting students. They are great. Both men are, to me, the highest skilled actors in Hollywood.

Whilst I didnt mind Batman Begins, I actually havent read any Batman comics.... :( Sin City tho, looked and felt like a living comic, and the fact that Frank Miller wrote and helped direct it is a testament that it is closer to the creators vision than anything a Hollywood stalwart could fathom.

Of course, Stan Lee was involved in the SMan films too, which is always refreshing to see to IMHO :)

Man I loved Sin City tho, creepy Frodo = awesome :D

I am somewhat dismayed to see that Superman, The Punisher (the most recent one), and The Crow didn't make the poll. I voted for Blade because it is the movie that wholly opened up Marvel Comics on the big screen. As for what came after it, I would have to say that my favorite was Daredevil. I believe that had it not been for Daredevil, Batman Begins may not have been made. Now before you jump on me, let me explain...

The first Batman movie with Michael Keaton was intended to get back to the gritty Batman of the comics and shed the campy/cheesy image the character had since the TV series. It did a good job of that, but as we know, later sequels caused somewhat of a regression (especially the one with Mr. Freeze). When Marvel put out Daredevil (which is one of their most famous Batman-like characters...the other being Iron Man), it blew the cutsy lid off of what a tragic superhero was like! When I saw the scene where Daredevil let that guy get run over by a subway train, the first thing that popped into my mind was "Batman is a pu$$y!" I think that the people who made Batman Begins thought that they needed to "one-up" Marvel and create a "balls-to-the-wall" Batman to show the world who's boss.

Now, if Ghost Rider is as good as I am hoping, the ball will be back in Marvel's court....
