Jeff
I have actually never played it. I have been considering making an investment in it though... I'll be interested to see what everybody says.

RobQel-Droma
Jedi Academy is where you play as a young force user heading to the jedi academy on yavin 4. you learn to use the force and then go on five relativily unrelated missions. Then, master luke discover something, you go off to hoth on a main story mission. once your done, you do another five missions. then, another main story mission, then another five missions, and then the last main story mission, along with another two last levels at Korriban where you fight the boss. It is actually kind of fun, although no matter what you really do on the five-mission sets doesn't really matter and doesn't have much importance, so the whole story i didn't think was that well put together. Especially since the new boss was actuall a boss in the earlier game.
Vladimir-Vlada
Jedi Academy and KOTOR 1 and 2 are my favourite games. I like JA as well.
TheGreenGoblin
It's a good game, the fighting mechanic is fine and the level design is varied, I will say though that the story element dissapointed me. Firstly, the Dark Side ending is the far superior of the two endings (plus the credits hit with a really somber version of the Imperial March playing which is really great). However, I thought that the way the game was designed, with you picking missions at random hurt the development of the story and characters, I mean Jaden's pretty much by the book and laces tied straight, and then we're told he's losing control, and then he just changes from happy-go-lucky Jaden to angry evil Jaden if you choose to go to the Dark Side. It should have been a gradual and subtle fall. Raven's great at the lightsaber combat element as well as atmosphere, but they're just not good with characters. They fumbled the ball in Jedi Outcast as well with Kyle. Oh well, still a fun game.

Darth InSidious
It might be good if it had a decent storyline. I prefer Outcast, but I haven't played the whole thing... JA is only really good for MP..
El Sitherino
JA is only really good for MP.. That's pretty much the only reason to get a non-RPG game these days. JAMP is amazingly fun if played with the right people.
Darth InSidious
Yah....on a LAN game it can be great....on the net you find a lot of losers though...
stingerhs
personally, i didn't like it very much. combat was repetitive, graphics sucked, multiplayer ended up being nothing more than a gussied up chat room, and there was really almost no advantage to using another weapon except the lightsaber. at least this time around you didn't have a ton of jumping puzzles that didn't make any sense.... Aristotélēsticus
Jedi Academy is a good game, its fun to play, but KotOR is a milinia better.
Venom750
I like Jedi acdamy and felt so good beating up kule katarn but i wanted to fight luke the bitch but i don't see how people compare KOTOR games and JA and Jo games because their different games but i nthe star wars universe anyways i like the game:)
Bob Lion54
I voted "Good" The story was just enough to keep me interested. Not great, but not terrible either. I liked the game play. It was pretty easy to get used to. I prefer Kotor style, but JA was still good. Its too short and linear. The option to chose the order of the missions is cool, but each mission was a straight shot. Thats fine, but I would have prefered a few side quest. Too short speaks for it self. When I got to the end, I wanted more.....
FiEND_138
JAMP is amazingly fun if played with the right people. Yeah. It's just a shame their so few & far between. "OMG!!!! YOUZ LAMER!!!! YOU HAVE NO HONOURZ!!!!! FEEL THE WRATH OF JA+!!!" The SP side I thought was garbage as far as story goes. Just another quick cash in for LA. stoffe
at least this time around you didn't have a ton of jumping puzzles that didn't make any sense.... The sand planet with the instakill worms more than filled the quota. Enough meaningless jumping puzzle for a lifetime there. JA is fun to waste half an hour on or so every now and then, any more than that and it gets a bit repetitive. Lightsaber combat is fun and the main attraction of that game IMHO. Without it the game would just have been a semi-mediocre shooter. Though it's more hit&run strikes than any real saber dueling involved in JA lightsaber combat. If you stand your ground you tend to die promptly since too many attacks are unblockable.
El Sitherino
Yeah. It's just a shame their so few & far between. "OMG!!!! YOUZ LAMER!!!! YOU HAVE NO HONOURZ!!!!! FEEL THE WRATH OF JA+!!!" Yeah, that's why I usually only play with folks from LF.
RevanA4
I like Jedi acdamy and felt so good beating up kule katarn but i wanted to fight luke the bitch but i don't see how people compare KOTOR games and JA and Jo games because their different games but i nthe star wars universe anyways i like the game:) bah just spawn a 4 or 5 lukes and kill 3 and you got your fight I got tired so I just modified my pistol to fire constently and ran around killing jedi with the pistol what fun oh and it only works with god mode on other wise you will kill your self
lukeskywalker1
Yah....on a LAN game it can be great....on the net you find a lot of losers though... Emperor Devon
It's okay... I liked all the new features in it JO didn't have, but the story is terrible. I know nothing is impossible with the Force, but I thought that bringing Ragnos back to life was awful. And Tavion - leader of the cult? Bleh. She's a follower, not a master. I don't play it any more. It just sits on my shelf, gathering dust.
lukeskywalker1
Yeah, I used to mod it but the community totally turned me away from playing and modding. Oh well. I do plan on giving a LAN party a shot with it though...
90SK
Yeh, its ok. The combat is good; a nice change from the KotOR system. Still, it was shallow. MP can be good once and a while; the modding was ok. I skinned for JA a few times: nothing spectacular.
TheGreenGoblin
I know nothing is impossible with the Force, but I thought that bringing Ragnos back to life was awful. And Tavion - leader of the cult? Bleh. She's a follower, not a master. Well to be honest, in Tavion's horribly limited vision she simply wished to ressurect Ragnos to SERVE him. What a loser. 90SK
JA character's lack of dimensions made for drab play. Even Kyle Katarn's role was reduced to drivel-like status, almost. JO was far richer.
