Pavlos Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 I've recently been digging around by stocks of games and books - the books are piled too high now to really look through . And it occured to me how much I used to love the old LucasArts games like Monkey Island and the Indiana Jones graphic adventures (Not these modern action ones - though the Emperor's Tomb was pretty fun). Anyway, with that story over with, I was wondering what your favourite LucasArts (Or related) game happened to be... Mine is probably Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis... phew that game was good. I'm working through another playthrough right now and I am currently in the Nazi submarine and I just love it! *Sigh* Such a great game... were games actually better in that time period?
Prime Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Probably KOTOR. I also love the X-Wing and JK series...
Jeff Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 KotOR is definitely my favourite. Back in the day X-Wing and TIE Fighter were some of my favs too.
Lantzen Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Kotor, but day of the tentacle is a real funny game:)
igyman Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 I'd have to say Grim Fandango, definitely the best adventure game I've played.
HerbieZ Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 Here Here! I love that game. It introduced me to Star Wars and i loved the whole storyline, the graphics wern't bad for their time too which i think contributed to the fact that it was an awesome game. Even now i play it and i think, if this game had better graphics, i probably would'nt play it. It's jsut the way it's made.
FiEND_138 Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 One of my favorite games of all time.
Rogue Nine Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Day of the Tentacle was awesome. But my favorite LucasArts game to this day is still TIE Fighter.
Astrotoy7 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 lolz @ Niner/Primeski.... you nostalgic old fogeys well the two that knocked my socks off the most gameplay/story-wise were KOTOR and XWA. But JK/JO/JA were fun in their day too I didnt mind Rebellion either, for some EU heavy RTS I also really like the XWvTie Balance of Power Campaigns Exp Pack Rebel Assault II was visually the most stunning for its time and some arcade style fun, the same can be said for the rogue squadron series Grim Fandango/Monkey Island were great but Im too much of a SW nut to place it above any of the aforementioned titles mtfbwya
Samnmax221 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Sam and Max hit the road is we're talking adventure Something from the Dark Forces series If we're talking action
FiEND_138 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I didnt mind Rebellion either Man, can't believe I forgot this. A hell'uva lot of fun was had with that as well.
Sabretooth Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Knights of the Old Republic would be the best for me.
Pavlos Posted April 14, 2006 Author Posted April 14, 2006 KotOR II (Don't kill me for this!!) came in second for me, with the first one in third.
Ztalker Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Rogue Squadron: Rogue leader 2 I always was a big fan of starwars, but this game realy made me buy more games. It was shortly followed by Jedi Knight 2, and later Kotor on the PC... It was sooo cool to control a X-Wing...do the Death Star trench run... And the graphics were amazing for the time. It realy gave the Cube an edge

Ive been playing on a widescreen LCD Tv/Monitor and it would look much better if it had such an option no biggie. Still looks pretty awesome tho mtfbwya
