Peeps (the marshmallow kind)

During the Easter season, those wonderful, sticky, sugary treats known as Peeps appear on stores shelves, just begging us to eat them (usually head first). If they're purple, you can even claim to be a Purple Peep Eater!

However, some brilliant folks over at Peep Research decided to conduct experiments to "try to discover just a little bit more about the world around us through the miracles of science, technology, and preservatives." They have conducted experiments so we can learn about our sucrose brothers and sisters.

The researchers assure us that "Before any testing begins, all peep subjects are thoroughly examined and sign a disclosure form explaining the potential risks of their volunteer service."

Warning: Put that drink down if you're sipping anything remotely close to your computer keyboard. On the 0-5 Spew Scale, I thought it was a 6.

And especially for those of you in the medical field (or not--it's still funny), do check out the Peep Surgery section. The Code Purple is, well, I can't explain it. You have to see it for yourself. :D

Enjoy and Happy Easter!
