IG-64 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Proof that you can't get away from the world's crap no matter what you do. Apparently some sicko truck driver was looking for revenge on something that happend 20 years ago (though he was probably just insane.) He went into a small one-room Amish school, and had the females line up in front of the blackboard and shot them with a handgun excecution style. He killed 3 and severely injured 7, then he killed himself. 3 of the injured are in critical condition. This just sucks all around. I hate to see this kind of situation end up like this. My sympathy goes out to the families of those that were killed and injured. This is the third school shooting in a week in the US, and 2 more schools in vegas went into lockdown today because someone went by the school with an automatic weapon. What's up with that?

I can't imagine that some Amish people would do something to someone that would lead to a revenge shooting of Amish girls at a school. So, a student, comes to class and he brings a small BB Handgun into class. And he says "What would happen if the teacher saw this?" And in the end, he hit somebody with the BB gun and he did get suspended. And the funny thing is, it was in a German class. What is that now--the third shooting this month? **** man.... Yeah. I've heard of more than three shootings this month. Mainly locally. It's really stupid why these shootings happen. Like this one in this topic, for example.

Wow, did that make national news? Apparently it was my old high school, Mojave, a kid that had gotten expelled was walking back on campus and the were escorting him off when he said he had come to kill people and took off. They put the school onto lockdown, and they eventually caught him in a church. The second school was Elizondo middle school I believe, and that was just because it was in the area they were searching for him. I just found out today that there's been 2 guns confiscated from students in the past 2 weeks. Lovely isn't it : | Anyhow, I'll look out for more information from local news stations.

Metal Detectors at the entrances, guards in body armor with guns and tasers, and I doubt too many people would complain (except for the students). Sadly, I'm more worried about certain persons and the mainstream media blaming video games for all these shootings.

Expect to have a full-blown security system in place at my school within the week. The school thread in Ahto has more detailed descriptions of my prison masters -ahem - teachers/staff. People are too eager to point fingers at the media in any medium: News on TV, Newspaper, Video Games... All the way to Wikipedia I'll bet.
