Can't wait for snow to come...at least it'll be sunny, white and less depressing

Pavlos
As a British person this is obviously one of the more interesting threads on the forums for me. Now that winter is forcing me to wear four layers of clothing to keep warm and I'm developing a wariness of foggy patches of land (it freezes to you, you know, the fog... clings like solid terror to my coat) I feel compelled to reopen this thread and engage in the sort of discussion that is usually reserved for lift rides and conversations with friends of friends when left alone together in the kitchen. What's the weather like? The ducks obviously don't seem to mind the cold...

The Doctor
Here in Ontario we're around about anywhere from -4 to -10 degrees Celsius. I'm not translating that into the archaic Fahrenheit measurement, though, so hop onto Google.
Arcesious
It's freezing over here, but there's no snow yet! I also have a Sheltie, NegativeSun! My Sheltie is smaller and faster than yours though.

Been driving to and from Ottawa during almost 8 hours today - damn traffic and construction work, should have been 4 hours at most both ways combined... - Those guys in the Capital have snow! I got laughed at for my high heels..."Don't you have boots? You're going to get cold and slip on the ice...I answered: no, you "idiot" - kept that to myself but I think of it nevertheless - , I am parked indoors, in the same building we are in right now" (The Doc & Prime!!! You stole it all from us, Montrealers! I'm going to sue you! ...Must go skiing... repeat to self: "Must go skiing" )
Rev7
In Eastern Washington it has been pretty cold, around 34F. We actually got some snow yesterday (Thanksgiving) but it really didn't stick. I wasn't expecting much of anything but cold, but we got I am gonna say 1.25 inches of snow today--that stuck. First real snow. Amazing. Last year was pretty nasty, so hopefully it won't get as bad. We are actually short on de-icer for the roads due to last winter. :/
Astor
It's about 2°C where I am (just north of Coventry). No snow, but I'm hoping it stays away for at least this weekend so I can go riding today. But then again, I haven't been outside yet, so I don't know whether it's icy... I hope it doesn't snow very much this winter (not that it ever does, but when it does snow it's pretty heavy) - I don't have a car!
Darth Avlectus
Can't make up its mind here. Windy off the hill. Raining one day, just cloudy the next, sunny the next. Since '99-2000 it's beenlike this. Warmer longer here than previous. Makes for a very miserable dry summer with so many droughts in a row. Not sure if this is permantent or a 12 year cycle. Sure contributed to the angora wildifre. It used to SNOW like crazy usually in mid october ending in march-april. I think southern california got our late year snow in the form of rain and sleet. We now just get a little rain way late in the year, it decides to DUMP snow early in the next year and then turns to slush. Warm... then bone chilling cold. More cold without snow than with. Our lowest with snow is -13 oF. It's unpredictable.
Litofsky
It's in the low forties (about 3.8 degrees Celsius), and about to rain. If only this could've come a day or so later: the schools here close if it even begins to snow.

Rogue15
It's been crazy here. We're literally alternating from 85 degree high days to 52 degree high days and all the while it's raining cats and dogs. When I was in northwest Iowa we would not have been surprised to have had snow by now. lol that's missouri for ya. the summers are great, 45 degrees in the morning.. zelda 41
Tis cold here in Indiana. Had the first sticking snow of the season this morning; it's mostly melted away by now. I love the snow, but not the cold. I think it got in the negatives last winter. Sucked having to walk to my bus stop that's 15 minutes down the road. Mav
it's sorta cold here in Arizona, it hovers around 16C here, not too bad, at home in Hawaii it's still probably in the mid-20's celsius.
