What bad habits do you have?

Have you been able to break them?

What have you done to prevent your bad habits?

----------------------------------------------------------

My 2 bad habits I have been doing for years and still can not break them.

1.) Picking at the skin on the side of my thumb nails with my index finger nails. This causes my skin to peel back and sometimes bleed...I know it's gross!!!

*I have tried wearing band aids to stop it but they never worked.

2.) When playing video games and I am really into the game, I chew on the inside of my cheeks. It just makes them sore for awhile.

*I always try to chew on some gum when playing video games to keep me from my 'cheek chewing'.

Interesting...

I used to bite my nails. I was also a smoker for about 13 years. I still have a smoke or two when I'm drunk (rarely happens), but I quit 5 or 6 years ago. I quit biting my nails in junior high.

I used to have a habit of hiding magazines under chairs in the living room. They had short little legs and had this frilly bit running around the outside to cover the gap underneath. I've broken the habit, but only because we ended up getting new chairs which are impossible to slide anything under and expect to get it out easily again.

I tend to bite my lower lip alot, which makes it sore :(

I crack my knuckles around my niece cause she hates it so much... she squeals.

Disclaimer: No I don't know "crack my knuckles" by doing anything violent... :dozey: with the imagination you guys have, that's probably what some of you thought *shakes fist*... *looks at fist*... *hides fist*

My worst was playing WoW, I regret that decision and Im quite happy being free from it now for 8 months.

Aside from that, I too drink too much spezi, which is kinda like drinking too much coke except instead of being addicted to 1 soda I'm addicted to 2.

I also hug people too much, although hugging is fun and harmless so I don't think Ill stop.

I've been accused of being too awesome...

Ok, ok actually I obsessively count everything. I also drink way too much coffee and pretty much wear the same attire every day of my life; Jeans, t-shirt and a long sleeve with the sleeves pushed up.

P.S. WoW isn't a bad habit, it's really more of a pox on the entirety of man. :xp:

*I thoroughly dislike people who dont like cats (Im not sure this is bad, but others report it as so).
And here I thought you disliked me because I'm from Texas. :xp:

I visit these forums when I should be working.
Ditto

Dip Skoal, a nasty disgusting habit that I can’t seem to break. Quit once for a year then went fishing and took one dip then went right back to dipping a can a day.

Football, spend an ungodly amount of time and money attending University of Texas games.

I drink too much coke. >___>

I had a friend who drank a two litre bottle of Coke every day from grade 10 all the way until grade 12. His doctor forced him to quit, and his mother actually ended up calling me and his girlfriend to make sure he quit.

*I thoroughly dislike people who dont like cats (Im not sure this is bad, but others report it as so). I literally ignore people who dont share the pussy love :D

With you all the way on that one, Astro. I lovez deh kittehz.

As for myself, I bite my nails, and I have an irritating habit of taping a particular rhythm on any hard surface I happen to be around. I'm doing nothing about either, to be honest.

I am ditto on the habit of being here while at work but then when you have a computer Nazi at home, what are you to do?

I also joke too much and don't take things too seriously anymore as a result of stress induced illnesses as an undergrad.

I also have a bad habit of leaving my sweaters everywhere I happen to put then down. Same with my jewelry.

I procrastinate a lot.

Good one, I suffer from that infliction too. :zz1:

Another bad habit is I’m too curious. I try not to look at junk that will tick me off, but I just can’t stop myself.
