Arcesious Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I checked this out and looking at where it put me and where it put others... It's very innacurate. That, and categorization of people like this test does isn't very accurate either... Edit: Okay not that innaccurate. It's accurate based on the parameters it uses.
TriggerGod Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 If I was more left I'd be Ghandi. Any more down and I'd be Cynthia McKinney.

Q Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Wanna know what's even more surprising? Obama is a conservative: Those who say that Obama is a liberal may exit now. All right, that does it! The test is rigged, damnit! Rigged, I tell ya!

Arcesious Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Why do you say that? I think it's a fairly accurate test... Oh well. It's accurate based on the parameters the test is set up to use. However, I share different agreements with different sides. It put me near Gandhi in the test though. It's just that some of the questions asked didn't allow my to give a proper answer other than the four options available. IE, some of my veiws on things can't simply be answered by yes and no. The questions seemed rather... 'black and white' to me. Why isn't there an option for 'none of the above', instead of Agree/Disagree and Agree/Disagree Strongly?

That, and categorization of people like this test does isn't very accurate either... Actually, as for the 'None of the above' idea, that's actually dealt with in the FAQ's , I believe their intention behind it was that it forced you to make a choice... Ah well, I think that this is the most accurate one out there, but, then, most of these are pretty inaccurate...oh well... they're still fun to take.
mur'phon Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I'm not sure what worries me most, that I'm placed to the right of most of the yanks, or that the closest forumite is Qliveur:xp:

jonathan7 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I'm still loving the fact I'm the most left wing of all of you
Sabretooth Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I'm still loving the fact I'm the most left wing of all of you No you're not. Mind you, this should shock no one who's read my blog or seen me spout off on a political board.
ForeverNight Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I'm still loving the fact I'm the most left wing of all of you And I get a kick out of the fact that I'm to the right of almost everybody here... I never even really considered myself a really right-wing person either...
Web Rider Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Wanna know what's even more surprising? Obama is a conservative: Those who say that Obama is a liberal may exit now. The American scale of politics is somewhat skewed. This test is more universal in it's politics, while American politics takes place almost entirely in that upper right hand box. So, divide that in 4 quadrants, and you get American politics. Apparently, I'm pretty much the same as everyone else here. Also: props to Rev7 for being a leftist authoritarian.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Economic Left/Right: -1.50 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.26 I've actually switched sides to the exact same place on the other side since I last took this test.

Allronix Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Economic Left/Right: -6.62 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.33 http://www.politicalcompass.org/printablegraph?ec=-6.62&soc=-5.33 Left wing of Ghandi No mean feat for a devout Christian I may be Neo-Pagan, but I've read the Bible, and Jesus was an upstanding guy. Knocking over money-changing tables in the temples (y'know, that story is a good argument for reviewing the tax-exempt status of certain churches...), telling the rich young man to sell all he had and give it to the poor, the story of the Widow's Mite... And the loaves and fishes. Did he take a larger share because he was leading the movement? No. He distributed his bounty equally. My Score: Economic Left/Right: -9.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.46 I'm not too surprised, as I know I'm a left-wing radical. I've gone protesting in the streets, have Congress's switchboard programmed into my phone, and tried to register my political affiliation as Freedom Socialist. Yes, I've also been a subscriber to their newspaper for over 10 years.

I have been told on several occasions that I can't be a Christian because I'm a lefty
