Astor Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Only 3 pages? The art is very good, but I can't really say anything more until we see the next part - it's not mentioned much more than fluff. But, it seems, that as usual, the Sith are intent on deception (so no surprises there).
SW01 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Short and sweet, but not bad at all. It is of interest to see the Sith Imperial Uniform (which I hope to have my character wearing ). I think I may just follow this series after all! Oh, and (not sure if a spoiler tag is necessary, but hey) Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) with Alderaan being seen - I wonder is that a hint of it being in the game?
jrrtoken Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Three pages? They call that an issue? I read the whole thing in less than a minute!
leXX Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 I know, 3 pages is ridiculous. I was expecting a whole lot more than that. Not too impressed with the art style either. I was hoping for some quality Jan Duursema. :/ Oh well, at least it's free.
adamqd Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I know, 3 pages is ridiculous. I was expecting a whole lot more than that. Not too impressed with the art style either. I was hoping for some quality Jan Duursema. :/ Oh well, at least it's free. I expected 3 pages like most web comics, but I liked the art, only problem was it wasn't quite finished imo. Agree on the Jan thing though, her and Dustin weaver are the best SW artists
Jeff Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I was also disappointed with the length, I was expecting the length to be similar to a regular comic issue. I'm happy with the art style though and it's free so can't complain too much.
Sir Vougalot Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 You guys didn't know they were only going to be three pages long? I'm pretty sure it was mentioned when the series was first announced. If not, I have no idea why I've always known.
True_Avery Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Looks like it will be something along the lines of a webcomic than a traditional comic
Mav Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 hmm, at least the first 3 pages made it blatantly obvious as to why it's titled 'Threat of Peace'
Prime Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Nice art. And nice to be getting some more detail on the background of the game. For a free comic, it is a good, but short, start. Looking forward to more.
Miltiades Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Yeah, I didn't expect anything that short. Can't really judge something on three pages, so we'll have to wait and see what the other "issues" bring. For one, I don't think the art is bad. I've seen better from Dark Horse, but I can live with it.
Dark Obi-Wan Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I came across this short comic when checking out the site. It is probably going to be like comic previews on the http://www.darkhorse.com and we will have to buy the comic to find out the rest.
