Yeah, I wasn't saying it was literally an Angel wing, I was just saying that because of the way the feathers are layered. But a Seagull would be logical Also, if you look closely at the screenshot, it looks like it's nailed on the sign. That's because it's supposed to be pointing to the International House of Mojo, I believe.
Scapetti Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 There is already a deluxe wich is basicly there se. LucasArts didn't make that and they even sent a cease and desist letter to the creators for it. Hopefully meaning they will make their own remake. I'm actually pretty sure they will do Maniac Mansion because SCUMM was built for it and they have hinted to it quite a few times in interviews.

MusicallyInspired Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I remember seeing a DOTT concept background of the trio's dorm(?). It ended up being different in-game, but aside from the minor differences it was exactly the same as the in-game version. Seems to me like they scanned them.

Tower Five Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 A LeChuck's Revenge remake should sit artistically within Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition and Curse Of Monkey Island. To be honest, the original backgrounds fit this perfectly if they were to be scanned in and cleaned up.

This is the second image on which you used a really cheap looking bevel and emboss filter. You're acting like you just learned Photoshop. Ontopic: I kinda like this one, although I don't think he fits MI2 very well. The coat seems a little too thin though. In the original it seemed like a pretty heavy big coat. Maybe if you make the wrinkels a little more subtle. As for the shaded one. I think the CMI style would work better with a hard shadow.
