irishmile
SMI Elaine was so damn hot in the close ups though D: yeah those shots remind me of Dina Meyer
MusicallyInspired
That LeChuck is almost perfect. I think his eyebrows need to be narrowed down a little more. More of a meaner look. Just my humble observation. That and Elaine's odd face are my only issues. Otherwise those are pretty sweet! Excellent work!
Guy.brush
Just a quick update. The Voodooshack and Captain Dread's ship are inside Cryengine 2 right now...feels awesome to run around in them. When I've time I build some environments around them and I can show it to you or release it as a test level. Real-time ocean waves ftw \ Sadly there is no character model even closely resembling Guybrush. oh well...
Lagomorph01
Wow, that sounds really cool! Maybe you could use one of the sprites made by the people on this thread. I know I've seen a Guybrush walking animation somewhere in here.
BeleG
Cool! I know there was a Guybrush 3D Model hidden in Indiana Jones And The Infernal Machine, you could use some cheat to play with it. There's also the Escape one. Both could be used as a start, though it would be funny to see those 90's models used in CryEngine 2 . Looking forward to see what you've done! DLoThuggin
Hi. I read through this topic and I understand a Monkey Island II remake is in development? Is this true? I played the 1st one and love the graphic design, the voice overs everything. I haven't had laughed so hard in a long time. I loved it. Will there be a Monkey Island II Remake? Thanks in advance. Lagomorph01
Nothing like that has been confirmed as of yet. There might be one some day. But Lucas Arts haven't given any confirmation on a new remake of any game yet. We're just speculating how it would/should look like and making incredibly good looking fan art. Thrik
Nice! Looks a bit bright on my screen though, almost as if it's daytime with snow rather than night with stars.
Lagomorph01
Wow, it looks really great. The 3D looks pretty good when touched up with Photoshop! I also love all the detail. Although I agree with Thrik, it's a little bright.

Daveproyoyoyo
I think a special edition of Lechucks revenge would be cool! Im a music technology geek and am already setting about re-recording all the MI2 music in full with all live instruments for my dissertation in studio engineering at Uni. Hope it turns out okay... s-island
Have you started orchestrating it yet? I've found several tracks where the playing range is outside of the real instrument it's supposed to mimic.
elTee
Yeah Dave, knowing Zaarin as I do my advice would be to speak to him about this. Whatever information he might be able to share with you will almost certainly improve your grade
Daveproyoyoyo
Thanks for the Advice guys. Yeah I have started Orchestrating it and your right there are a few instruments that are out of key like the tennor sax and the bass in the Largo tune but a lot is still within range which is usefull. I have had to swap some instruments about a bit such as a clarinet for an oboe in the crazy music at govoner marleys mansion but it still sounds fine at the moment. Only thing im stuck for present is a marimba player which could be quite tricky to find. With the risk of sounding stupid who is zaarin? and how would i get hold of him? Gabez
Whoops, s-island is Zaarin (there was another Zaarin who took the name on Lucasforums)... just hit him up on a PM, or come to the #monkey-island chat channel (http://www.mibbit.com/chat/?server=webirc.gamesurge.net:6007&channel=%23monkey-island) -- he's quite often hanging out there. Guy.brush
make sure you include something Caribbean like, like a steel pan drum.
Daveproyoyoyo
Already sorted out. The steel pan band is being recorded in 7 weeks time, I also have now tracked down a marimba player as well so dont worry about the caribbean feel itll be as reggae as you like.
