igyman Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 I'll start with some old masterpieces and slowly move on to newer stuff: Soul Reaver 2 - Sarafan Stronghold Hitman: Blood Money - Apocalypse Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Icarus (Michael McCann) Other than these particular games, their songs and themes, games like Starcraft, Warcraft II and III, KoTOR, TSL, Assassin's Creed, AC II, AC Brotherhood, Darksiders, DA: Origins, The Witcher 2, Bastion and those of the C&C series had quite a few awesome musical themes. HL2 and Eps 1&2 had some decent tracks between them (Abandoned in Place, Eon Trap, Hunting Party, Last Legs, Sector Sweep, Vortal Combat and What Kind of Hospital amongst them). ME and ME2 as well. Kotor and TSL each had several. C&C had some pretty decent stuff. This question, while good, is almost as hard to answer as "what're your favorite songs". mur'phon Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Being lazy, I'll just Yes, it's not necessarily the best soundtracks, as quite a few of them will probably sound bad if you didn't enjoy the games they are taken from, also, use shuffle. Mask of the Betrayer is probably my favorite, simply because it didn't just have a few good ones. Each track was good by itself and fit the situation, it also avoided the common video game trap of making every track too similar to each other.
