Darth_Calo Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 - I pick the New England Patriots... final score...23-22 This is a rematch of Super Bowl XLII, which will haunt me forever (details here and here) I think the Patriots get their revenge and win it for Myra Kraft (click) Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show)
Pho3nix Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Final score... not even gonna take a guess on that one. Giants though, most definitely.
ChAiNz.2da Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Where's the Yoda option? Both teams suck. Either teams are only in it because of a field goal. One team made one (Giants), the other's opponent didn't (Ravens vs Pats). Lame across the board. I'll be playing ToR while this snoozefest wastes on-air time. I'll watch the commercials (bound to be the only good part of the night) on YouTube afterwards.
LordOfTheFish Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I don't know the first thing about football, but I'm expecting the Giants to take the trophy from what I've heard. I honestly don't care. Football is one of my least favorite sport anyway.
Sabretooth Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Super Bowl XLVI sounds like a sports game series made by Square-Enix for the SNES
JediExile Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Meh. Not a fan of either team, but I can see the Giants taking this one. I'm sure the Patriots will want revenge or whatever, but it seems to me that the Giants have a bit of an edge. Disappointing though, I'd rather see other teams playing than a rematch.
Darth Avlectus Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Bleh, I was only half interested so long as a California team was in it. But the niners have let me down again. 'Course I'm not much of a football fan to begin with. I'd be happy if it were the other NY team cuz I knew #50 Garrett McIntyre as a fellow youngling for a short period of time. A good sense of humor.
Taak Farst Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Voted New England Patriots because England is in the name. What the hell is the 'Super Bowl' ?
Shem Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Voted New England Patriots because England is in the name. What the hell is the 'Super Bowl' ? You could Google search it.
Jae Onasi Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Voted New England Patriots because England is in the name. What the hell is the 'Super Bowl' ? It's something you'll never be able to understand because you hate America and play that little kid version of football on the other side of the Pond so that you don't get your shorts dirty like Real Men. In the meantime, who wants to come to my house for chips, dip, beer (age appropriate) and those little football-shaped meatballs?
Darth_Calo Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 So the Patriots cut Tiquan Underwood. The day before the Super Bowl. Poor kid. Got that Flying Elvis shaved into his hi-top fade for nothing.

Bloody hell, no need for that! And you call that, whatever that is, a sport of real men?? American Football doesn't appear to be as rough as rugby!!
Ctrl Alt Del Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 that little kid version of football Actual football?
LDR Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I like neither. The Steelers or 49ers should've been in the Super Bowl. End. EDIT: I hate the Giants even more now. Still can't believe that they won.
M@RS Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Actual football? No, she's talking about soccer. rough as rugby!! Because ballerina before every game is such a tough feat.
Jae Onasi Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Bloody hell, no need for that! And you call that, whatever that is, a sport of real men?? American Football doesn't appear to be as rough as rugby!! Hey, don't rag on the US if you don't want me to give you a hard time about silly UK stuff, too. We know you think the UK is superior to all, that poor dead horse has been so beaten by you so much it's turned into a pool of bloody mush now. Unless, of course, you're just teasing, in which case, so am I. As for the game, the last 2 minutes made up for the entire rest of the game in excitement.

Negative Sun Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 No need to get upset people it's not REAL football anyways ;-) (oh yes I did Jae!)
LDR Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Yay! Another Californian! Err... I'm from Pennsylvania, dude.
mimartin Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Give me bandwagon jumping bimbo for $200, Alex.
Scorge Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Damn, I missed this thread but anyways, the NYC Giants won. I was so enthusiastic that the patriots would win, but I guess they just had a bad game.
Bob Lion54 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 A little late, but whatever. It was a good game, but I'm not really a huge fan of either team. Still, I'm happy the Giants won since, as a Louisiana boy, it's hard to not be behind a Manning to win. Good game, came down to the last drive. Not much more you can ask for from a Super Bowl aside from your team being in it.
