Breton
I got 18 of 20 right. I have really no idea what El Nino is, and I confused the Pacific and Atlantic ocean.
Clem
HOW THE HELL DID ONLY 64% of americans get the AFGHANISTAN QUESTION RIGHT?!! HELLOOO?!!!! HAVE U OPENED YOUR EYES IN THE LAST YEAR?! not many could point out russia either ... hmmmm hope they managed during the cold war less than half managed to find japan!? .... spose they used the 42% that could find it to bomb it! i wouldnt have got the sweden 1 had they not eliminated all the other countries in the area from the choices! hmmmmm not sure how many i got right wasnt counting as i went about 16 17 ish
Darth Homer
There were a couple I wouldn't have gotten if they had just grouped the surrounding countries into the question....so, I just used process of elimination to get those I wasn't sure of...20 out of
greedo626
17 of 20 right. I got Sweden, Italy (stupid mistake), and Christianity (another stupid mistake) wrong. other than that it was pretty easy;)
StormHammer
I scored 19 out of 20...which is surprising considering I was always rubbish at Geography in school. The only question I had wrong was the one about religion...somehow I'd convinced myself Christianity wasn't the right answer. Judging by the results of that survey, it's pretty sad, though, the number of countries that scored so poorly, Great Britain included. Considering we now have a global economy, and closer integration with foreign markets, it's pretty surprising. Of course, what I really can't understand...is how those 2-3% of people living in countries that had to be identified...didn't know where in the world they actually live. Clem
11% in america but then again only 79% of brits managed to point out america .... im ashamed GB didnt do that badly America did worse than it should Sweden .... did very well .... perhaps we should have a gander at how their schooling system works .... and STEAL IT
Rogue Nine
Got everything right. 'Twas quite interesting, seeing all the percentages.

C'jais
How the hell am I supposed to know how many bloody people that live in the states? 19/20... grrrrrr..... Oh well, it seems I can learn something about the US, and the rest of you can start learning something about Europe, and Scandinavia in particular Can't believe how many people got Sweden wrong BTW, do steal the Swedish school system, it's way better than the Danish
Kylilin
I got them all right. the percentages were nteresting, but not suprising, since most people in America can't name all 50 states, let alone other countries.
Wacky_Baccy
Everything I was going to say has been said already, so I'll quote it Posted by Clem HOW THE HELL DID ONLY 64% of americans get the AFGHANISTAN QUESTION RIGHT?!! All of what he said... ^_^; Posted by Clem Sweden .... did very well .... perhaps we should have a gander at how their schooling system works .... and STEAL IT What he said *despatches a crack squad of Aresenian infiltration experts to 'appropriate' the Swedes' education system...* I've only become halfway-reasonable at geography during the last year... And that's mostly thanks to some interesting/unconventional ideas I've come across on the net/formulated myself regarding Europe and the EU... ^_^
C'jais
Regarding why only 97% of the swedes could pick sweden's location, may be because Norway and Sweden were clumped nicely together, with their repective numbers being placed too close together, so the 3% couldn't distinguish between the two number's placement.... yadda yadda - maybe they simply clicked the wrong number since they thought it was such an easy question. -s/<itzo-
19 out of 20 i'm suprised i did that good. if you know whats going on today i'm sure you'll do good. it's commone sense.
SPY_jmr1
I got 19 out of 20 correct, only goofing the religion one... I guessed hindu.... got it wrong... TheJackal
Same, I got 19 out of 20. The only one I got wrong is the religion. I was certain Islam was the biggest religion since a lot of the world's polulation concentrates in the middle east, easpecially Indu. I got the locate this country 100% I'm a whiz in geography. And I'm very impressed with the Sweeden's average score. Though I'm sorta surprised on how only 97% can point out thier own country (Italy and Sweden)
Jedi_Monk
I missed the one about religion, too Anyway, I got 'em all right beyond that... 19 of 20 and I owe it all to Risk: The Game of World Conquest
Ratmjedi
I did good on the test. I only missed one on the test and it was the one about El Nino. I guessed Gulf Stream. Pretty good.
Breton
I can't BELIVE that only 25 percent of the people in US knows how high their population is - i mean, over half the swedes knows it... We can also mention that only 44 percent knew that it was EU that had euro, only 36 percent knew about the India-Pakistan conflict in Kashmir, only 25 percent knew wich two countries that had the highest population, and exept GB and italy, US got lowest percentage on where US was:rolleyes: , only 42 percent knew where Japan is, and both people in GB and US have little idea on where Sweden is:eek: , only 17 percent knew where Afghanistan is, only 21 percent knows where Israel is, and only 27 percent even knows where Argentina is. Ehhhh, something tells me that certain countries should improve their geography knowledge.
