Still, something like Matt's idea sounds more effective. Guys, if you take it so seriously, you could just make your own thread with your rules. Then we'll see who gets the most participants. Since you know what you're talking about though, and people will listen to you, would it be okay if you wrote a list of rules/dates/times etc for the election now (saying of what is going to happen) in this thread? We'll verify it and when it's sorted, we'll start a new thread with the rules at the top, and everyone can abide by them. Then we'll take the election from there. It's just that it appears the Spoon isn't willing to bend or change his rules one single bit (bribes aside, of course). And if people are getting so riled up over this, I think they're in their good right to change the rules to suit themselves. "Official" doesn't really matter on this forum, I think.
