Acrylic
I used to believe. All the kids at my school stopped. Then I stopped. Then my mom told me he wasnt real. Then I told my dad I dont believe in him anymore. He seemed so sad that day, like sad that I was growing up. There was my life story.

txa1265
I believe in the Santa we teach our kids about, as it is much more about the magical spirit of joy, love and giving than the guy who gives you stuff ... Mike

topshot
I don't care if Santa is real or not, I just go with tradition. Now if Kyle Katarn were Santa Claus, that's a different story for another day. Originally posted by Darth Groovy: Now that's a much better version of Santa. leXX
I believed in Santa up to the age of about 9 or 10. I remember being extremely excited Christmas Eve and I tried to stay up as long as possible so I could hear Santa putting my presents under the tree and in my stocking, then one night I did manage to stay up, I heard a noise so I squinted my eyes and pretended to be asleep and low and behold I see my mum sneak in my room and fill up my stocking. ='(

Surfnshannon
I got a little suspicious when I noticed the presents from Santa had the same wrapping paper and signed in the same handwriting as the presents from my parents!
Sam Fisher
Too bad how parents always spoil it for you it would be fun to still believe when you're at least 15.....right?

txa1265
Originally posted by STTCT No, I think it would be called "delusional" I wouldn't want my kids believing in Santa (at least not the commercial version) at 15. As it is now, they know that Mommy and Daddy are the 'purveyors of Stuff' and that Santa brings only a couple of things to everyone in the world. We are big on charity, and spend a lot of time shopping for kids in need. Our kids see Santa as providing what is needed for those in need - blankets, a jacket, and we help out with some toys. The joy of giving is something I hope my kids hold onto through their lives. Mike

Writer
I used to believe... probably because my dad would dress up as Santa and visit people... he'd always go out in his little red car and when he came back, we'd see him for a little bit, but then he'd always go into my parents room and come out as dad... not sure when I figured out what happened, but I have known about it for a while.
