Joetheeskimo Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 I'm an optimist, compared to my pannicky, annoying sister. *cough* Sorry.
leXX Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 My husband is the eternal pessimist and I'm the optimist. We kinda balance each other out.
Kain Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 I'm a pessimist for others, as I make everything they do fail, but thats because I'm an asshole.
TiE23 Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 Im a pessim-what ever you call it. I think you spend more time drinking a glass than filling it im a total 100% pessimist thingie TiE
narfblat Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 my brother says its good to be a pessimist. If things go wrong, you were right. If things go right, you'll have a pleasant surprise.

I'm pessimisitic and I'm carefree as hell.
Sabretooth Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 According to my precise calculations, the glass is exactly 30 cc empty and 22 cc full. Bring in some Jawa Juice, already!
WadeV1589 Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 I voted full because I think "half empty" sounds grammatically bad (it's not technically but it sounds more logical to say half full). (perfectionist)
Hermie Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 I dont know, I managed to spill mine before I got to check.... I think it depends if you had a full glass, and then drank some, or if you just fill it halfway.... or was this some kind of deep metaphor?
GothiX Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 The glass is half empty for me, since that sounds like more reason to refill it.
Black Knight of Keno Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 Hwo the **** drank my coke? It's half full now... Optimist
dark jedi 8 Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 i'm pretty laidback (sp) so i say Optimist. i figure that in order to have fun in life you should look at the bright side of things and never the details/dangers. (most of the time)
Pie™ Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Originally posted by narfblat my brother says its good to be a pessimist. If things go wrong, you were right. If things go right, you'll have a pleasant surprise. True... I have a dark outlook on life, so i guess i'm a pessimist...

If things go right wrong, you'll have a pleasant surprise become depressed. ^You could say the same about optimist, couldn't you?^

If you're a optimist you might just loose (become depressed)

If you're a optimist you might just loose (become depressed) So surely its better to be a pessimist then? I would've thought that people with a positive outlook are happier...or enjoy life more. Meh, I might be wrong.
Pie™ Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Originally posted by ExcelsioN So surely its better to be a pessimist then? Exactly Well, it's your own life, so you make your own choice (obviously)
Captain Wilson Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 My drink was more full then this, whos been drinkning my damn drink!! pessimist
Mike Windu Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 Ok, for all of you who are saying bad stuff, try this situation. It might work better. If you were placed in a tank by someone trying to kill you, and the top was closed off. Water slowly starts to rise and in a couple minutes you will be dead. Is the tank half empty or half full?
