Lead/rhythym/acoustic/bass guitar, and piano/keyboard.

I sing really awesome too.

I tought myself how to play each of these instruments. It took a long time to master them, except the piano. God tought me how to play that in the matter of seconds. Yes, God.

We were at church one night, and I usually play lead guitar for the band. However, the church was in dire need of a piano player, and this lady walks up to me and says "I want you to play the piano for us tonight."

I say "I can't play the piano! I've never touched one in my life."

She replies "I've been praying for a piano player, and God told me to tell you to do it."

I sort of gave a weird face, but You all know me, Being a man of God and all, I gave it a try. The first time I even TRIED to play the piano, it sounded perfect, and I've been playing ever since, and now I'm really good.

Praise be to God!

Sorry, when It comes to the king, I can get a little excited, heh heh.

Isn't she purrrrdy? :D That's my baby. I might post pictures of my guitar later. But that one there's my pride and joy. Been playing for almost 10 years. I'm actually going to take 6 months or a year off uni to focus on my sax playing. I've kindof plateaued.

I consider myself a "semi-professional guitar player."

Semi-professional because I have been payed for my playing, but never enough to make it my sole means of income. It's been a while since even that has happened though... (I've been too busy on the other side of the soundboard to do much playing lately.)

I also play bass a bit, I've been working a little on getting some keyboard chops, and I can sing (if you threaten me enough...)

I'm thinking of getting a mandolin and a banjo at some point. Maybe a lap-steel as well.

My first instrument that I studied was guitar, and learned fairly decent technique, but the first instrument I had real passion for was the bass. I developed some fairly decent fretted and fretless chops, playing in jazz, fusion and rock groups and ensembles.

In college (optical physics major, electronic music minor ;) ) I needed to learn to navigate piano, and since setting up my home music studio I have really played more keyboards than bass and guitar.

Since kids, the studio doesn't see as much use ... but I plotting to change that this summer ...

i played geetar for awhile.

my brother, who's been playing for 12 years and is really good, taught me some chords and how to read tab.

i got me a telecaster with a big marshall amp. and an old tube-screamer & wah pedal which my brother gave me.

i don't play that much anymore, just when i get the urge to crank out some riffs and piss off the neighbours :D
