BongoBob
Finally righted a horrible wrong tonight by finding where I put the audio card I found when we moved into my desktop. No more onboard audio for me. Never really thought it would make that much of a difference. I was dead wrong. I've just been listening to a bunch of my favorite songs and cds for like 3 hours now. Darth Avlectus
For those of you who know your optical and laser electro-optics history: After work tomorrow I get to meet one of the guys (Bob Fleischer) who innovated and developed methods for "pulling" synthetic crystals [from molten hot metal molecules] for solid state lasers. He and his associates developed synthetic ruby rods and sapphire rods while working for Hughes. Likely if you or someone you know owns an old Hughes brand ruby laser rangefinder, it was at least partially his work. I'm stoked.
