RoxStar Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Today is Earth Day, so everyone take the Earth Day Footrpint Quiz http://www.earthday.net/Footprint/index.asp I got 20 acres. The average for my country (US) is 25.
Samnmax221 Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Hmmm 20, you think a 4 wheeler count as motor bike?
Jeff Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I got 14. "IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 3.1 PLANETS."
MrWally Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I got 25, but some of the questions were really iffy. I like how on Earth Day I spend 6 hours riding around delivering about 4000 pounds of mulch. At least.
Samuel Dravis Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 LOL, 6? I think something is off, or I'm just cool... I use my bike and walk a lot.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 4.9 IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 2.7 PLANETS.
Kurgan Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 This is why we need our galactic Empire! Dang it, scientists, get to work on those Star Destroyers...
IG-64 Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I got 14. "IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 3.1 PLANETS." ^ I got the same thing. Alot of these questions are really generalized.
Samnmax221 Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Thay didn't even take into acount how much styrofoam I burn, and all those baby ducks I've kicked!
Darth Andrew Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 THIS POLL IS BIASED. I demand a recount! I got 13 acres, requiring 2.9 planets.
DarthAve Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 19, 4.3 planets. Probably not right, since I guessed on half on them. This was harder that the proficency.
Captain Wilson Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 "IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 1.3 PLANETS. " TOTAL FOOTPRINT 2.4 But... I like killing the planet!
Hallucination Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Total Footprint: 5.2 IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 2.9 PLANETS.
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Apparently I'm ruining the planet with my "36 acres" (8.1 planets) Ehhh, f*** it.
TiE23 Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 3.1 planets. I hate the meat questiong, it has like 3 options for vegitarians then the last two is "Twice a week" then "Every meal".
RoxStar Posted April 23, 2006 Author Posted April 23, 2006 I answered it with all kinds of primitive answers (no power, never travel, no running water, etc.) and I got 4, "If everyone lived like you, we would need 1.0 planets". I guess that means that we need to all regress 2000 years in the past...
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 I answered it with all kinds of primitive answers (no power, never travel, no running water, etc.) and I got 4, "If everyone lived like you, we would need 1.0 planets". I guess that means that we need to all regress 2000 years in the past... The question that got me was the one that asked if you had electricity in your home. One of the options was "No"
Reclaimer Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 1.3 If everyone lived like you, we would need 8.8 planets. WTF??
IG-64 Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 I guess that means that we need to all regress 2000 years in the past... Farther than that... People have been forecasting the fate of humanity for years. They usually say we're all gonna start dying off in about 20 years. And it never happens. My mom said the other day that in the 70's they used to say we wouldn't make it to the year 2000 because of deforestation. I still agree deforestation is bad, and we should find alternatives for fossil fuels, ect. But I also think there's no real reliable way to predict the future. Stuff like this is in that same vein of the "humanity is killing the world really soon" philosophy that I don't particularly agree with.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 1.3 If everyone lived like you, we would need 8.8 planets. WTF?? Maybe because your eating too many cupcakes? OR walk or.....maybe you should've just lied.
Mike Windu Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 I spent Earth Day using 2 aerosol cans to freshen the air inside my home. j/k Happy late Earth Day. My ecoprint was 17 acres, or 3.8 planets.
