Mace MacLeod
*sigh* I'm quitting smoking. Yet again. Expect more grumpiness than usual from me in the New Year, those of you who actually follows my posting habits (that's right, both of you). Kids? Don't smoke. You'll wake up one day when you're 33 and realize you're turning your lungs into potato chips for no reason and you can't stop. Then you'll quit for a while, have a few beers in a pub, and just have a smoke or two "just for old time's sake". Then you'll wake up one morning to the reality of having to move back across the world and stay with your parents for a bit while you sort out finding work, new apartment, new car and everything and your dad's an oncologist who thinks you quit last year. Finish that First Place bible study with my friends And I'll probably think of at least 12 others because I Plan Out My Life. @Mace--who's the other one who pays attention to your posting habits? Good luck with quitting.
Aash Li
I never make New Years Resolutions. Ever. Mainly because Im realistic enough to know that they wont stick or happen.
Emperor Devon
It's been over 10 years since I actually made a new year's resolution. I think I'll just stick to pointing out how no one ever keeps theirs. Well, maybe I'll make one for LF, which'll be to give Jae's @$$ a good kick in our duel. I know that's one I won't be able to break. 1. Lose weight (my perennial real-life nemesis) From my personal experience, cutting down to two meals and taking 2-mile walks 5 days a week can solve any weight-related issues. @Mace, good luck with quitting. It takes a lot of willpower from what I've heard, but getting other people to help you can make it a lot easier.
Commander Obi-Wan
^Man' date=' I'm glad I quit.[/quote'] And I'm glad 'cause I never started. For me, I just have to do my homework and studying earlier in the day rather than at night since my marks are subpar to what I would like and doing this, isn't helping. Also, reduce my procrastinating and eat healthier to keep in shape for the baseball and high school football season.

Ambrose
New year's isn't a big deal for me, so it's pointless to make a resolution for it. End of the semester is in February, so that and the end of the spring semester are the only real turning points in my life. And even still everything goes on a downhill slide... every year I study less and do my homework more during passing period... But I'll play the game anyhow. I want a 4:30 mile by May. Mace MacLeod
@Mace--who's the other one who pays attention to your posting habits?I'm sure at there's at least one other person who reads my posts in the Senate Chambers at least...and one other person that shall go nameless who definitely reads my posts in there and is drifting perilously closer to being the first and only person ever to go on my ignore list. good luck with quitting. It takes a lot of willpower from what I've heard, but getting other people to help you can make it a lot easier.Hey, quitting smoking is actually pretty easy. I do it every couple of months... This one's going to be rough, though. The only time I quit for any length of time (about 6 months) I was on Zyban for the initial quitting. This time, it's gotta be cold turkey, so it's just down to me and my famously weak willpower. I'll have to start exercising more, too. I should probably make that a resolution, come to think of it. Oh well, one thing at a time.
