Was Star Wars that traumatizing? This also means that George Lucas is still interested in making Star Wars movies, perhaps not sequels, but spin-off movies. milo
He's sixty-four years old for god's sake. HAN SOLO IS NOT ****ING SIXTY ****ING FOUR ****ING YEARS ****ING OLD DAMMIT. He made the right decision.
coupes.
Ford's career isn't what it was back in 1975... besides money isn't everything and I'm sure he already enough to go around. I had actually never heard of this Han Solo movie, and quite frankly I think is an horrible idea. Spin-offs are generally generally remembered as poor money-making attempts. And with the degrading quality of the SW movies over the years, I don't want to imagine how this could have turned out. I'm glad Indy 4 is happening though. We've been hearing rumors about this for at least 3 years now and it's finally happening.

Lightsaberboy
I didn't even know they were considering a han solo movie, so him turning it down is no biggie for me.
Daft Adidas
that's a hsame it would have been a brilliant movie but he's too old and you can't have Han acted by someone else. I' m sad.
Pie™
According to the website, this movie was going to be about the aging German truck driver "Hans Solo", not Han.
Jeff
According to the website, this movie was going to be about the aging German truck driver "Hans Solo", not Han. I'm glad he turned it down, I don't want any more Star Wars movies, it will ruin the legacy. And I'm looking forward to Indy IV.
IG-64
Plot Synopsis: Han Solo learns forensics and returns to Mos Eisley cantina to discover once and for all who really shot first. He also takes up crop dusting to see if it really is easier. And nerf herding, just because it's ironic. He also reunites Chewie and Yoda after 20 years, who finally gives Chewie the medal he always deserved. I never knew they were planning a Han Solo movie either, and now I'm glad it's not actually going to happen... Hopefully. Lucas could still make a CG Harrison Ford. He probably owns Harrison Ford's face by now anyways.
Prime
I didn't even know they were considering a han solo movieI think the consideration was: "Do you want to do it?" "No."

Commander Obi-Wan
LOL. Han Solo movie. LOL. Though, that's a lot money, I wouldn't've turned that down. But, I am happy he didn't do.
Diego Varen
Han Solo movie (Never heard Lucas was planning it), but I would be embarrased to see that happen. They should stick with all that stuff in the EU books. I'm glad Harrison decided to be Indy one last time instead of Han, since I want to see another Indy movie instead of a Star Wars one, no offence. Titanius Anglesmith
I would be devastated if the great Star Wars saga that I have loved all my life suddenly came back with a spin-off that probably wouldn't even make 100 mil. What would it be called anyway? "Star Wars: The Hardships of a Retired Smuggler"?
HerbieZ
Ignore it. If you have even heared of the Daily Star then you know this article is sheer rubbish. This is from the same newspaper that said Star Wars Episode 3 was cancelled due to "Lack of Interest". Sheer rubbish at it's peak.
MrWally
But it's true. You may not trust Daily Star but I trust Yahoo: http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/09012007/5/solo-movie-han-solo-0.html

abcd1234
I believe a Jar-Jar movie might be a slightly worse idea, but this comes in very closely.

HerbieZ
As do i trust Yahoo too. The story is even on the Force.net but people print what they want to hear and i am 100% certain that this is twaddle created up by a bored Daily Star editor. Mace MacLeod
So Harrison Ford turned down $47 million to play Han Solo again to make $47 million as Indiana Jones again. Makes sense to me...
