Jae Onasi
Stallone needs to make some money, eh? I still remember Ebert doing a review of one of the Rambo films where Rambo's hiding in the mud wall. His comment was "OK, how did he get his arm patted into the mud too?" Achilles
They announced the Rambo resurrection about the same time that they announce Rocky Balboa was being made. I remember thinking that if the final installments were homages to the originals and not continuations of their respected franchises, then it might not be so bad. Then I actually saw Rocky Balboa and all those thoughts disappeared.
mimartin
Good to see the man that can "eat things that would make a billy goat puke" is back. Just hope the movie does not make me puke.

MdKnightR
If the movie is as good as that trailer, it'll be kick a$$!!! That was awesome!
HerbieZ
He did'nt punch his head off he used a machete. I did read a chat recently with Stallone and he was talking about the Rambo films. He noted how good the first one was then how crap the second was and how diabolical the third was. He said the last two had no logical plot and message to convey and as he has more control over this film, there is a much stronger theme that carries throughout this film which is related to the worlds view on conflict and ignorance therof. ...Although naturally, Herbie will only see this movie to watch that jeep driver get disintegrated with a 50cal. Negative Sun
*drools* That looks so brutal, sweet! Stallone needs to make some money, eh? I still remember Ebert doing a review of one of the Rambo films where Rambo's hiding in the mud wall. His comment was "OK, how did he get his arm patted into the mud too?" That was his comment? Not "How the **** is it possible to annihilate a small army by yourself? Pull a bullet our your own guts? etc..." Edit: For the softies out there you might want to put a warning on this thread

Ztalker
... Sweet mother of god this looks good. a) You see him use some stealth at 2:00 in the trailer. He finishes it off with a knife kill. Great commando action like in MGS. b) 2:50 - The Bow c) at 2:55, het get's shot himself. A plus on the realism, since he Rambo seemed a bit immortal in the previous movies. d) 3:05: The organ merchant Just some points I really liked...seems this will be one hell of a finale for the Rambo series, just like Die hard 4.0 did for John McClane
HerbieZ
One of the huge debates on forums was the exploding crossbow bolt to that guy. Just to clear things up, the man gets hit by the bolt and THEN lands on the minefield which is partially submerged underwater.

JediKnight707
Damn that was one of the best trailers I've ever seen! That was so kick ass!! I've heard of this film (and the name John Rambo, not Rambo 4) since I looked at his IMDb page awhile ago. That was so awesome. I cannot wait for this to come out. I am so pumped right now. I feel like pulling out a samurai sword and kill someone. Kind of like when I saw Fight Club for the first time. PS If he has some sex scene with that woman, then I'll be peeved. Astrotoy7
And this is coming from someone who paraphrases one of the worst movies of all time above his avatar image? Shame, shame! lolz....I initially thought you were referring to my previous avatar from David Lynch's Lost Highway and was about to cast voodoo upon you but then I realised the date, and saw you are referring to the Dude, Where's My Cat thingie..... that has much more to do with my love for my cat, Astro Jr than that silly Kutcher movie Astro sorta looks like scratchy, thus the T-Shirt in the current av Here's a very contrived photo my gf took of Astro Jr doing his meerkat impression * * * OT: @Prime...It's extremely improbable - perhaps almost impossible for a human to take a man's head off with one punch. Tensile forces in ligaments, muscles. tendons, not to mention the weight of the head and brain make it a stupendous task - even for an aging super soldier A mountain gorilla could do it... but not a person...
