Tyrion Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Also, is Middlesex a land of the androgynous?

jebbers Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Chicago. Shih-kah-go. Haha that reminded me of Ace Ventura. "CHI-CACA! CHEE-CACA! CHICAGO! I got you! Your out, go on, get out." Niagara Falls Ny-ag-ra Fal-ls

Datheus Posted February 19, 2008 Author Posted February 19, 2008 While I guess this is cool and all.. it's kind of emergent gameplay. I meant where are you from (to get a reference on what sort of accent you might have) and how do you pronounce -boro.. I was having an argument with my girlfriend.
ET Warrior Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I am from Colorado. I say Burro. Greensburro. But not really with the long r sound. More like buro I suppose.
Sabretooth Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Mumbai moom-buh-ee (h is silent) I meant where are you from (to get a reference on what sort of accent you might have) and how do you pronounce -boro.. I pronounce it as a cross between "boh-roh" and "buh-roh".
El Sitherino Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I usually pronounce -boro in regards to the previous vowel sounds or the consonants. Usually -burough, though. A stronger ending with a "lazy" softened g sound.
ZBomber Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Coming from a Worcester resident, I can assure you the correct way to say it is "Wooster"
Kjølen Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 @ZBomber: That is completely illogical! Fin-eh-soh-tah. win. Epic win. Massive lulz.
