Aash Li
American Carol *smirk* Death Race was the best action movie I saw this year.
Rabish Bini
The Dark Knight is overrated. I'm gonna be the odd one out and go with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I think I may have just lost faith in humanity
HerbieZ
Actually i forgot about Indy too. I enjoyed that. For me, it was on par with Dark Knight.
Great Scott!
I think I may have just lost faith in humanityWas the one continuous plot without a whole ton of side stories and characters too much for you? I liked the older film style of it.
Achilles
That movie had a plot?!
Revan 411
Was the one continuous plot without a whole ton of side stories and characters too much for you? I liked the older film style of it. ... I disagree. I like the new films better. Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Christopher Nolan all did a brilliant job on The Dark Knight. HdVaderII
I would throw my vote in with Dark Knight, but Quantum of Solace isn't out yet. Rating Pending.

Ultimate Vader
Believe me, the best film of 2008 is Hulk 2. Iron Man is second to Hulk 2, because the fight between Man and Monger isn't very cool in my opinion. Dark Knight is third. Don't go mad at me, because I think Dark Knight is more detective than action. Then, comes other movies like Kung-fu Panda, etc. I personally don't like Wall-E, because the story is too "childish" for me. I'm a hardcore fan. That's why I put Hulk first, then Iron Man second. Anybody know about Venom movie (marvel)? I hear they give a shot to Venom.

Titanius Anglesmith
Anybody watch Hulk? No. I was never very interested in it or it's predecessor. Action scenes don't make a movie for me.
Arcesious
I liked Iron man... I want to see that Batman movie, but the Hulk movie just doesn't seem like my kind of movie.
Bee Hoon
Anybody watch Hulk?I giggled when he said "HULK SMAAAAAAASH!" Less green monster, more Edward Norton plz!
Ravnas
Man, this thread is lacking in terms of Tropic Thunder love. I thought that was one of the funniest films in years.
Endorenna
The Dark Knight Prince Caspian The Clone Wars I think these three are all on the same level. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull It was okay, but it was almost solely because it was Indiana Jones. I thought it was really wierd (even more so than the others!) . Commander Obi-Wan
I've watched some many movies this year, some good, great, bad, and just plain up ****ty. The Dark Knight Tropic Thunder Pineapple Express Iron Man In Bruges and... Wall-E. Those I'd have to say were the best of the crop, IMO. I really enjoyed Indiana Jones too. Hopefully, I'll be able to add Quantum of Solace and Zach and Miri Make a Porno to that list.
RedHawke
All I have seen from what has been mentioned in this thread is Iron Man as I bought the DVD... and it was very good. Going to the movies where I am requires you to take two steps down... physically and socially. So I simply rely on cable.
Totenkopf
So far...DK and Ironman. Hopefully Quantam will be good too.
