stingerhs
i like Thanksgiving, but i'm not one for some of the traditional foods like Turkey. i do like cranberry sauce, the stuffing (especially my mom's), and pumkin pie, but everything else, i'm just not a fan of. this year, we're doing a ham roast with squash, stuffing, pumkin pie, and a little something called pineapple mint freeze. darned good stuff that is. Bokken
Yeah, that does sound really good...if I do eat turkey, DARK MEAT ONLY!
Jae Onasi
Aw--I voted from the main page and didn't realize it was multiple guess. Favorites--turkey with gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, that green bean casserole with the french fried onions, homemade rolls, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin and/or pecan pie. I make homemade stuffing, thank you very much, none of that fake-from-the-box stove top crap. I usually buy a 20-25 pound bird for our family so we can have lots of leftovers. Yumm! mimartin
On another note, I'm surprised that Pumpkin Pie is doing so well! I can live without it all, but I need my Pumpkin Pie with a touch of wiped cream (and not the store bought crap) to survive the holiday. Same goes for Christmas, but add Pecan Pie to compliant the Pumpkin Pie. This year I'm likely to get neither as I will not be home for the holidays. Det. Bart Lasiter
I used to like Turkey a lot. Although this year, my parents are making Tofurkey for me. Ugh, vegetarianism sucks, Pumpkin pie. Mmmm. My brother-in-law's mother used to make a delisious pumpkin bread every year for the family. Although, she died this past May. I suppose this is going to be very tough on him, celebrating his first major holiday without her. stop being a vegetarian then jesus zelda this is simple math god sweet cherry pie and pumpkin pie pie ****ing rocks
Hallucination
I would whore myself out for garlic mashed taters. I also like stuffing and turkey (but we eat it a lot in my family so it's not too much of a big deal). Aw--I voted from the main page and didn't realize it was multiple guess. You guess what food you like?
narfblat
Po-ta-toes! boil 'em, mash 'em (no stew!). My folks grow blue potatoes in their garden, makes interesting mashed potatoes. Turkey is good too, and gotta have gravy.

urluckyday
Take some mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, and then just mix it up w/ corn and turkey...best combination dish ever...I am so thankful for Thanksgiving dinners!
Andurilblade
Turkey, mashed taters (with sour cream,) the cranberry sauce with the big chunks a fruit in it, my Mama's green bean casserole, homemade rolls, stuffing, and, (I know I'm about to make a lot of enemies,) any pie but pumpkin. 'Course my favorite Thanksgiving meal of all time was when I went to visit my sister at college-- we had Rice Crispies.
Serpentine Cougar
I'm not really into Thanksgiving foods; I'd prefer chicken or lamb.

Rachel_Ewok
Apple pie? What happened to pumpkins? Out of the list, mashed potatoes and stuffing is the best. I despise pumpkin pie. But apparently I make a really good pumpkin pie ( I have to make quite a few around Thanksgiving for different family parties...). Go figure. CommanderQ
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, and pumpkin pie, are my favorites. Nothing like the classic choice for Thanksgiving, the food is always excellent! That and a good drink to top it off definately make a great Thanksgiving meal! Rinku
Turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, corn, cranberry sauce, sparkling cider and spaetzle . YUM!!! I always have at least 4 plates :burg1: :burg1: (I don't eat dinner the night before or breakfast the day of thanksgiving; all I have is water, because we eat our dinner around 1:00 PM)

narfblat
Ahh, how could I have forgotten to mention pie in my earlier post??? Like some others here, I don't care for pumpkin; however, we have smore pie and fudgey pecan pie, and one or two others, home-made except with premade crust. Oh, and one more thing: the cranberry sauce in the shape of the canfixed.
Mav
It's all about the Rice, then the Turkey, and then the Cranberry Sauce. Where I come from rice is a mandatory accoutrement of every meal.
