Marius Fett Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 So people come along and attatch their 'hoses' to artoo's girlfriend, then turn her on so liquids come out?
Nedak Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 TV we watch as children has a tremendous influence on language development, especially kids shows based on teaching numbers and language such as Sesame Street. I don't deny that, but I wouldn't call 24 or Lost life changing shows. I don't even see HOW those could be life changing.. You mean the "Endless Shows About Hitler" Channel ? mtfbwya You guys must watch the History Channel at the wrong times. The History Channel taught me more about history than school ever did.

No, the History Channel used to be hardcore World War II/Hitler almost 24/7. I find that historical time period very interesting, probably my favorite, but it was ridiculous how much time they were spending on one event/guy.

Yes it used to be, that's when I wasn't watching it as much.
Revan 411 Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 I'd say Futurama and The Simpsons. Both shows were awesome when I used to watch them back in my early youth.

I love the Simpsons as a series overall, but the original first few seasons will always be the best. I watch it if I catch it on, but it's not the same as it used to be. Futurama is coming back in 2010 on Comedy Central with new episodes.
Will O' The Wisq Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Chuck, Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Seinfeld ... Yeah I love comedy
Astrotoy7 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I don't deny that, but I wouldn't call 24 or Lost life changing shows. I don't even see HOW those could be life changing.. 24 could at least teach you about the amount of hours in the day Lost informs you that being stranded on an island still wont let you lose weight if youre obese mtfbwya
TriggerGod Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Futurama is coming back in 2010 on Comedy Central with new episodes. Yeah, but unfortunately, Fox is bitching something fierce about the Original Actors. They care about how much Comedy Central will be paying the original actors to do this show?
Salzella Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 House would be the best candidate for me because: a) i watch it as reference material for my own brand of rapid wit and repartee. and b) i briefly got my hair cut to resemble Chase circa season 3. however i dont watch much tv so that's about it.
Shem Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I never thought of any of the TV shows I watched as life changing.
Gob Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 I never thought of any of the TV shows I watched as life changing. What goatee-master said. These are the ones I like, though: Simpsons, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart, the Colbert Report, Comedy Central Presents (Pretty vague, but whatever), Important Things w/ Demetri Martin, That 70s Show, Scrubs, South Park Yep, I'm a Comedy Central fiend, despite all of the trashy movies they overplay...
SpartanPride Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 1. The Office (US) 2. The Simpsons 3. Futurama 4. Stargate: Atlantis 5. Firefly 6. Deadliest Warrior 7. Stargate SG-1 That's all...
Ray Jones Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 M*A*S*H, MacGyver, Magnum, Airwolf, The Fall Guy, Max Headroom, V, Star Trek (original), Knight Rider, Stargate SG-1 no particular order except M*A*S*H = your daddy and Stargate = your uncle Bob
