Ping Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Avatar, in theatres. Yeah, I'm not that much of a movie person.
LordOfTheFish Posted May 26, 2010 Author Posted May 26, 2010 Just to clarify things I did not mean only movies you have seen in theatres.
Mandalorian54 Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 Blood: the Last Vampire (2009) I give it 2.5 out of 5 It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good either. A remake of an anime that was infinitely better (4.5 out of 5 for the origional). Basically the remake is just an action movie, if you're into stuff like Iron Man 2, and Avatar, it should be fairly entertaining.
Jae Onasi Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 We watched Star Wars on Sunday night. The last movie we saw in a theater was a month or so back when we went to see "How to Train Your Dragon". It was a fun show.
LordOfTheFish Posted May 28, 2010 Author Posted May 28, 2010 Watched The Road last night. The book was better...
Ser'eck Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 My last movie was The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. This is Heath Ledger's (R.I.P.) final film, he unfortunately died while they were still filming it. A very good movie IMO, but I am still confused on the ending a little.
Rtas Vadum Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Last two I watched were Daybreakers and District 9. Daybreakers was pretty much what I expected it to be, and something I'd watch again. District 9, I can't say it was bad, but maybe not something I'd watch again. The possible sequel, well, I'll still give that a chance.

I agree with you, I probably won't watch it again but I am curious about the second one.

I saw that one a few weeks ago when the DVD arrived(I forgot I ordered it, so it was a bit if a surprise). I can't say much about it, though it is something that I will be watching again. Sure, some of it I wasn't expecting, but nothing to jarring for me. Redeemed Jedi said: I've seen District 9 myself. Completely different from what I was expecting. Then Whos laughing?), but that thing with the fingernails...egh. That is something I'll need the Brain Bleach for.

It's just a mindless entertaining movie...that's all I like about it.
LordOfTheFish Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 Watched the new Prince of Persia movie with my dad and brother. It wasn't terrible but it was far from good. Over all I thought something was missing but I cant place my finger on it...
Akaan Par'jila Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Last film I watched was... Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The only reason I watched it was to prove that ET makes an appearence
Q Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 ^That, and Obi-Wan vs Maul, are the only reasons to watch it.
Working Class Hero Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Just saw Law Abiding citizen. Best movie I've ever seen in my life.
Astor Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Rio Bravo. Not matter how many times I see that film, it never gets old.
HK-42 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I watch a movie every night. This week I watched all 5 Dirty Harry Movies...Best cop movies ever only leathal weapon 1-4 give them a run for there money. Just finished Monty Pythons Life of Brian

LordOfTheFish Posted June 6, 2010 Author Posted June 6, 2010 I went to see Splice the other day. Terrible...
Mandalore The Shadow Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 I just watched wolfman again last night it was just as good as the first time I saw it
SW01 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Mandalore The Shadow said: wolfman...good Not a pairing of words I would have made, but to each his own... The film I watched most recently for the first time was 'The Desert Rats', about the Rats of Tobruk. James Mason's Rommel was brilliant, especially when paired with his role in the same part in 'The Desert Fox'. The most recent 'new' film I saw was Ironman 2. Certainly very flashy and I got a good laugh out of the Senate Committee scene, but I wasn't mad about it overall.
SW01 Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 GTA:SWcity said: ^^^The DVD is real dang cheap, too. Desert Rats? Yeah, I got it together with 'The Desert Fox' for about £5. Rather reasonable, I'd say.
igyman Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Most recently I watched Transformers 2 for the first time. I liked the first part very much, but this sequel turned out to be boring as hell. Before that, a couple of months ago I saw Shutter Island. I expected some kind of fantasy/horror mixture, but was very pleasantly surprised with what I got instead. Then again, I had little info on the movie previously, so I had no idea Scorsese was behind it, until the credits started to roll.
