LordOfTheFish Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Congrats to you and your wife Shem! Best of luck handling all the responsiblities of parenthood!!
Trench Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Congrats Shemmie! Have a beer for yourself, and a ginger ale for me! As well as some aspirin and coffee for when you get her home. *ahem* I would like to recommend the 870 Remington Express for him, if doesn't have one yet. It's lightweight, handles with ease and has almost no recoil when shooting rock salt packed in modified shotgun shells. That's the way you do it boy! I personally would recommend the Remington 870 Express Synthetic with an added adjustable choke. Just in case you wanna hit a running target. And use Winchester Game Loads. The super speed ones. Low recoil, max damage. Gonna have to look into the modded shells. Now that I think of it, "Remington" would be a nice name for a girl. Congratulations to to you and the wife. Enjoy time spent with your new daughter. God bless all of 'ya.
Jae Onasi Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Awesome news! Glad to hear all has gone well! I can't wait to see the pics!
Lord of Hunger Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 At 2:34 A.M. Pacific Time, my baby daughter came into the world. She was 19 1/4 inches and 6 pounds and 8 ounces. I'll post pictures later. I had to make a run home and pick up some things for my wife and I thought I would give the word for a few minutes before I head out back to the hospital again. Congrats, Shem!
Mav Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Congrats Shem & Family. Yay! I take it that everything came out okay. 10 fingers and 10 toes, right? I don't know why, but for some reason I initially read that in my mind as 9 fingers and 10 toes...
deathdisco Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Welcome to the ranks of parenthood. Congratulations!
ForeverNight Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 What about a Mossberg 500? Somehow you can pick them up around where I live, I can just imagine the poor kid's face when he realizes what that black ominous thing is @Mav: Don't worry, I did the same thing :\ no idea how though :\
ChAiNz.2da Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Late to the party but awesome news nonetheless! Gratz man!
Shem Posted July 11, 2010 Author Posted July 11, 2010 This is within a few short minutes after Linda was born and a shot of the nurse's arm. This is the first time I held her and the first time she looked in to her daddy's eyes. What a moment. Thanks again for all the comments!
Pavlos Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Congratulations, Shem, and congratulations to your wife, too: she's a beautiful little girl.
Ser'eck Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Congratulations Shem, and to your wife! I can really see the resemblance. Hope baby is healthy and her mommy is happy.
Kyr'am Galaar Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 epic baby picture is epic! What a shot, indeed... Congratulations, Shem! Just wait for the teenage years, she'll say "I hate you!" but she'll get over it... We always do.
Liverandbacon Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Congratulations Shem! I hope you're not too fond of sleeping, because you're going to be somewhat limited in that respect very soon. I don't have a kid as of yet, but all my friends who do say that "worth it" isn't nearly strong enough a term.
Hawkstrong16 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Congrats Shem! she is truly a beautiful Child. Give my best to your wife. And Congrats again!
