GIS is a great career path. combat medic = EMT, which bad either if you dont mind the semi random schedule and longer hours

Cmdr. Cracken
just a generic keyboard. It has the capacity to type korean, but Windows 7 doesn't like that..... as it it won't do it. meh, it feels good, good response.
Rogue15
i'm going national guard though...and those mos' aren't likely to be available anyway...so i'm hoping i can just go scout anyway. it's not like instant deployment upon swearing in because i'll be leaving next year, once out of osut though i can be deployed i guess. the other mos' are all the land vehicle mechanic ones, 25b information technology specialist, ground station system analyst, all the combat ones, combat engineer, couple other medical ones, pharmacy one, and a bunch of others. i'm pretty much set on the one i picked though. if i go as that, the odds (her parents) say i won't be with my girlfriend long afterward because of the divorce rate of people in a combat mos, and the combat mos' change people and make them want to kill everything. but eh i think i'll go against the odds. job at the warehouse is going good. 10 hour shifts monday through friday, 3 day weekends...5am-330pm! and weekly paycheck! not really any insurance though, mainly because it took 3/4 of my last paycheck and i never used it but once or twice and i still had a copay!!!! screw that!!!! Wildstar
Celebration VI will be next August back in Orlando...I might think about this one if I can save up and get a good deal on a flight and a room (I "know somebody"). Any of the other XWA'ers thinking of going?

edlib
It hasn't been a particularly busy or stressful (or, to be brutally honest with myself: productive...) week for me at work... but somehow I'm exhausted and achy. Hopefully this weekend sorts things out... I'd love to report to work on Monday totally refreshed and eager to tackle new tasks. That hasn't happened in a while. Keyan Farlander
Is that the year where they teach you to berate your patients for not flossing well enough? That seems to be the biggest part of being a dentist.
edlib
Reckless Driving and Sloppy Technique is not really the best way to make it to the podium, or even just get across the line in one piece... yet I got lucky, and not only managed to finish, but actually win this race! (My first Dirt 3 in-game video... mainly to see how easy it is to upload and post one.) By the way: Dirt 3 is a helluva game if you like off-roading and/or Rally! Highly recommended! Rogue Nine
Is that the year where they teach you to berate your patients for not flossing well enough? That seems to be the biggest part of being a dentist. I think Ike's in the year where they teach you to cause as much pain as possible along with doing the least amount of actual good to your mouth. Wildstar
So far, so good in my summer league...197 average after 6 games, and my team is in 4th, but only 2 points out of first (in a league where the games and series total are worth 2 points each); three teams have 14 of a possible 16 points after two weeks. Kuuki
derp oh yeah i forgot to mention on wednesday, as i was doing some yard work, I had to dump out a wheel barrel full of dirt and grass. And as I was about to dump it I ran into an interesting couple (per sae) on the old concrete foundation of what held up our 100yr old barn. so, what I thought that I heard was a couple of birds, I naturally looked up, but saw nothing, then I heard them again and looked down. A couple of stray kittens seems like a ding-dong-ditch not my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/gygabyte666 (vids a day after) we put those two in a cat taxi for a couple of nights, good thing they ate solid food right off the bat been looking for a shelter with no luck, but by Fri nite, my dad set up the ol dog cage and they got set up in there. found out quickly that they will use the impromptu litter box (apparently my lil sis told me about a half hour ago that cats seem to do that). I wanted to call em Leeroy and Jenkins, but my ma (whom doesnt want more animals at the house, AT ALL) called them Jay and Bob (might as well mention that the black and more 'skittish' one is bob (jay and skittish bob? )) found out eventually (after looking) that 'Jay' is a girl and 'bob' is a male. so, Jay is now 'Jae' Jae Onasi thought that it was funny when I told her that
edlib
My girlfriend just adopted a 3rd cat. It kinda looks like a miniature wookie.
