Prime Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Yes, it is for TCW, and yes I know many nerd rage about it. But to me more Qui-Gon is always good, and the fact that Neeson is doing it is all the better. http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/01/20/liam-neeson-star-wars-clone-wars-exclusive/
mimartin Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Now I guess I'm going to have to dust the DVR off to catch up on season three before 01/28/2011. Thanks for sharing the information Prime.

Astor Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Republic Commandos AND Qui-Gon? Season 3 is making it hard for me not to watch.
JediExile Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Yay! Qui-Gon is probably my favorite from the prequels as well.
Sith Holocron Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Wow - finally a reason to watch that series!
Titanius Anglesmith Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 As I detest all things Clone Wars at this point, I'll probably wait to see if his scenes are uploaded to YouTube.
Alexrd Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 When I read this news, I thought that he could have done his voice role for RotS on the Blu-ray. It can't be a coincidence.

You can always watch previous episodes, including season 3, on http://www.starwars.com @topic - It's about time they brought Qui-Gon back, his legacy on screen was too short. I'm just glad they got Liam Neeson to reprise his role instead of getting some cheap voice actor to do it.
Alexrd Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 You can always watch previous episodes, including season 3, on http://www.starwars.com Not all of them.
adamqd Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Wow - finally a reason to watch that series! this
mimartin Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 You can always watch previous episodes, including season 3, on http://www.starwars.com No need, I have them recorded on my DVR, just haven't watched them or House for that matter.
Prime Posted January 21, 2011 Author Posted January 21, 2011 When I read this news, I thought that he could have done his voice role for RotS on the Blu-ray. It can't be a coincidence.Much speculation going on about this. That would be one addition to the films that I would certainly welcome.
Darth Payne Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Here is a link to the episode preview of episode 3.15. http://www.starwars.com/video/view/001210.html
Totenkopf Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Man, pretty much fell away from watching TCW after first season, but caught it hit-n-miss the 2nd one. Haven't seen it for awhile now.
GeneralPloKoon Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I've actually gotten into The Clone Wars and like it now, so I'm excited!
Prime Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 TCW has very much improved over the first season. I think many people are missing out after being initially turned off.
Canaan Sadow Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 TCW has very much improved over the first season. I think many people are missing out after being initially turned off. Yeah... I had recorded TCW on my dvr and went back and watched the Nightsister trilogy thing... (the most recent recorded) and they were a major improvement over the first season... I was like "O_O woah."
Qui-Gon Glenn Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 TCW has very much improved over the first season. I think many people are missing out after being initially turned off. Agreed. The first season, I was confused by Ahsoka and the nicknames, and felt it was made a little too much for the kiddies. Being a stalwart fanatic, I ignored these feelings and continued to watch. My only complaint now about TCW is that the episodes are too short
Char Ell Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Qui-Gon's one of my favorite characters in the prequel trilogy, so I'm glad he'll be doing the voiceovers. Totally agree. Sounds like I'm in the same boat as many others. I watched some of the first season but felt the show was really shooting for the kids and pre-teens. I didn't get much enjoyment out of it personally. However this announcement has piqued my interest and since some of you say The Clone Wars has gotten better maybe I'll start watching again.
Prime Posted January 27, 2011 Author Posted January 27, 2011 Not to say there still aren't legitimate complaints, playing loose canon being one. But there is certainly less slapstick and silliness. For me, ultimately, I just enjoy seeing Kenobi and Skywalker being portrayed as the heros and friends we never really saw in the PT.
Alexrd Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Pernilla August is coming to The Clone Wars too, as Shmi.
LordOfTheFish Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 This may be enough of a reason to start watching TCW.
Alkonium Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Pernilla August is coming to The Clone Wars too, as Shmi. Unless it's in a flashback, that makes even less sense than Qui-Gon appearing. However, I am greatly looking forward to hearing Neeson reprise the role tonight.
Alexrd Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Unless it's in a flashback, that makes even less sense than Qui-Gon appearing. I'm sure it's in a dream. After all, this arc is about the Chosen One.
