I guess it’s worth pointing out that the Mojo forums actually have a 100% complete lucasforums archive in them (available at the bottom of the main page) as opposed to the one from lucasforumsarchive.com, which is a partial scrape of archive.org. You should even be able to search it and stuff!

The verb coin has nothing to do with inventory combination and you know it. Grasping at straws here (while slowly sinking in quicksand after escaping from a snake).

I’d say you’re reading too much into it. I know there isn’t a ton to pick over, and the gamescom thing is a surprise announcement, but that doesn’t mean it’s worth creating conspiracy theory-like drama to fill in the gaps. If anything maybe they didn’t know Keighley was announcing it in advance, but the team is small enough that I have to assume they know what’s being made to promote the game, because they are almost definitely the ones making and approving the promotional material.

The Full Throttle interface would win in a rumble, due to its additional ability to kick things.

I bet it works fine in the real game, in the context we haven’t seen yet. I know that’s a boring unfun thing to say when all we have to do right now is speculate on these tiny clips, but eh. Usually this sort of joke works in these games just fine in context.

Ah no that was the same Guybrush just having a dream. You can tell by the presence of Blue Coat LeChuck, who is very important to the Second Guybrush theory.

I know it sounds improbable but there have actually been two guys called Guybrush Threepwood with incredibly similar lives, and we’ve played them both across the different games (I’m not saying which was in which game, but if you knew it would surprise you). In Return their paths will finally cross.
