Um... I sorta like anime. ever seen that Avatar airbender show? Katarra is hot... um... yeah... don't worry, I'm not a porno junkie over anime girls or anything. i rather find it amazing how those people can draw shows like that with such great detail and perfection.

It's a perfect blend between disturbing (Paranoi Agent) and fantasy (Rah Xephon). I love it...

Guys, let's not crap up the thread with 'omg anime is a genre/medium'. This debate has been had many at time with very little progress made. I think we can all (the anime fans at least) agree that anime is something that entertains us and makes us happy, so let's just leave it at that, mkay? ^_^;

in the meantime I might pick up on Gurren Lagann, seems like thats what all the cool kids are watching. The only other one I'm watching is Lucky Star.

I like anime, but there are more of those that I've heard of than those I actually watched.

I've heard of most of those mentioned here, like Ghost in the Shell, Naruto, Hellsing, etc, a friend of mine has also recommended Bleach a number of times, but when it comes to those I watched, the only one that I didn't find boring was (laugh all you want) Yu Gi Oh (or Juggy Joe, how I like to call it ). I've watched the first four seasons, the fifth wasn't aired on local channels (they did air GX, but that was a load of cr*p, IMO).

I've watched a few episodes of Dragonball and I agree with the majority here who say that it's cr*p. Pokemon also annoys the hell out of me.

Mushi-uta is a good series, its like a cross between Darker Than Black, Mai Hime, and Mushishi. Also with lots of pretty girls.

 

Lucky Star, if you think that Azumanga Daioh was screwy and random, this one takes the h-game.

Started watching Gurren Lagann and now i can see why everybody seems to like it! It's serious like Death Note but has the comical theme of Busou Renkin! Kamina even reminds me of a younger Captain Bravo, lolz. I've seen six episodes today and a big LOL to the Asuka and Rei extra from Evangelion in it xD.

Never thought I'd say it, but I'm slowly becoming a Naruto fan.. hehehe

 

This of course, is the Naruto Shippuden series. Seems they're finally making the students a nice tight pack of badd-asses Very interested to see how this series does as it seems to be slightly 'darker' than what the regular series was.

 

That and well Sakura is finally getting some air-time where she's *not* fawning or completlely worhtless, and while Naruto is still an impatient knuckle-head... he's at least getting some spirit and isn't always coming off as an entire goof-up. They've given the boy some brass ones and the other Chunin / Jounin are seeing it.

 

I'm shocked yet happily surprised... huh, who whould'a thunked it.. hehehe

Don't you worry, Sakura and Naruto's foray into not sucking will end soon

 

 

Naruto is a typical shounen protagonist who'll always get his ass handed to him then he'll have a moment of OMG BURNING SHOUNEN JUSTICE and barely manage to stay alive. Damn Kyuubi plot armor :/

 

 

I'm fairly sure the Kakashi Gaiden (basically how Kakashi got his Sharingan) arc is right after this mess in the desert though.

Lolz, yeah, Naruto always gets his ass handed to him and then says he'll become Hokage because that's his way of the ninja, the enemy becomes surprised and then he spams-Rasengan the enemy to hell.

 

Past 2 days doing nothing but seeing Gurren Lagann. I knew KamiYoko would happen but Kamina didn't have to die. >_> Simon all freaked out was really cool with those eyes. And then came Nia. Timeskip Simon is badass.

Lolz. I'm looking for 23 right now. Btw, right now, i HATE and love Gainax. Love because they produce great-quality anime. Hate because the Gainax animes i've seen toy with my emotions. Call me what you want, they just do.

 

And also, what's with Simon being called Gar or whatever? I don't understand it.
