I noticed that Ahto doesn't have anything about halloween, so I made this thread. What are your plans? What are you going out as? If you aren't going trick or treating what are you doing? Do you have pics of your costume or some good lookin' pumpkins?

 

I guess I'll go first. I'm not going trick or treating, but I'm gonna be wearing a tall hat (like the cat in the hat one) striped black and yellow with smilies printed on the black stripes to school and when I pass out candy. And then on tuesday I'm gonna go to all the stores and buy candy at 50- 95% off. No pennies and popcorn for me.

 

P.S. if you're staying home with your gf/bf or husband/wife and dressing up as naked people plz don't tell us.

Do people actually do this?

 

I'm going as a Jedi. I made my costume today, it is totally awesome. Well I guess it could be better, but for making it in one day it's pretty good. I'm still going out trick or treating, this may be my last year, I'm not sure. I'm not really into doing it anymore, I'm kinda old for it, but I just can't resist getting all that candy XD

When I was in college, I saw a couple who had made overly endowed "birthday suits" as their costumes. The girl wore the guy suit and the guy wore the girl suit. It was a laugh riot!

 

As for my plans, I am not doing anything special. I stopped trick-or-treating when I was 12 because people at every house thought I was too old even then. The last time I remember dressing up was when I was in college and my workplace allowed us the priviledge. I dressed in drag. ;)

i dunno. i work 2 jobs 10am-9pm one is letting us wear wahtever we want as long as it doesnt get in food, i'll prolly put some face paint on, and the other...didnt really say anything so i dunno, i dont wanna be like the only freak in my dept. =\ so i prolly just wear whatever. at least ROTS comes out soon. and battlefront 2....i might be forced to buy that. XD

i will probably pin a bunch of socks to myself and go out as Static Cling, a costume i use as a failsafe when i don't feel like putting in the effort required to dress in drag (or if i don't feel like getting my ass kicked at a townie bar, which is where i will be tomorrow).

 

i don't really want to go out, but the bartender expects me to supply the ginger snaps that are part of the halloween drink specials, so i'm kind of screwed on this one. *sigh* but yay for free pints of yuengling lager! <3

I'm coordinating a Halloween bash in my office tomorrow. Then I'm taking off early so that I can my kids to a family-oriented party at my parent's house. After that I'm taking them trick or treating and then home for bed.

Well theres a party round my house and people have to dress up i got some halloween decs up round the place so i can't wait anyone of you guys can come if you can make the trip to england lol.

What do you mean Halloween plans? In my country we don't celebrate Halloween. So I guess I'll just be at home, working and studying Latin to fix it from a B to an A and do homework and, if I'm lucky, finally finish chapter 1 of the new epic I am writing.

 

No Halloween for me...

Nothing planned but study for exams. Its not really a big thing down here and no one really does anything, which is a bit boring but bad luck for us i guess cause a holloween party sounds very cool

Then after about 8-9pm "cutoff" time for tricker treaters, I'm heading out to the 'adult' Halloween Party down in Old City with a couple of workmates. It's an 'old' (duh) part of town here in Knoxville that hosts the best bars/micro-brews/theatres/clubs etc... :emodanc:

well, i think i'll be renting a couple of DVD's from the local shop, finishing the German campaign on 'Rome: Total War', and then time to wath the Steelers-Ravens game @ 9pm. :D

I put some fake spiders in my secretary's office this morning before she arrived. She screamed loud enough to call it a success :p

 

As for the rest, I eat most of the candy I buy.

if she got really scared and found out you did it, you might have been defending yourself in your next case. :D

 

although i dont celebrate halloween, i think the best thing if to dess up like the guys from slipknot. their masks freak me out enough to almost puke on the spot.

or you could go as a Gran(SW species, not your grandmother)

Well I decided I am going out trick or treating this year XD I got my Jedi costume all ready, it looks pretty cool. I was thinking of staying home and just watching a movie but I can't resist getting all that candy XD. I'll probably post up some pics of my costume later.

hehe, just rented 'Batman Begins' on DVD. dang, i forgot how good that movie was. guess its time to head down to 'Best Buy'. :D

 

and the game's about to start.... :emodanc:

Yeah, I only went out trick or treating for an hour or so, but still got a pretty good haul. I've probably eaten half of it already :D And I watched Nightmare before Christmas afterwards. Haven't seen that movie in years.
