RaV™ Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Who the hell even bothered thinking this up? Never get rid of him..'nuff said.
Shem Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Somebody actually voted against keeping HK-47, yet didn't reveal themselves. Very interesting.
Darth333 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 This poll is moot. We all know HK-47 is there to stay: didn't he appeared in the last SW Galaxies expansion pack?
vader815 Posted May 4, 2006 Author Posted May 4, 2006 If none of you have notice, HK as shown little to no intertest in T3 what so ever. They are not R2 and C-3PO
StaffSaberist Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 I voted keep, even though his antics are a slight problem when playing LS... it's not him, I just get so tempted to select the DS options, they're too funny!
90SK Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 If none of you have notice, HK as shown little to no intertest in T3 what so ever. They are not R2 and C-3PO They fill the R2-D2 and C-3P0 archetypes. They don't have to constantly interact. If they did, it would be way too obvious a parallel.
Dark Lord Revan Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 How can you call T3 useless when you want HK? The two of them are the C3-PO and R2 of KotOR. Both are essential for the story, and are great characters. and funney!
StaffSaberist Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Besides, the last thing I want is two more people with emotional problems I have to fix as a side-quest. Droids have none of these problems...
Darth Manus Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 HK is hilarious, sly, sadistic, a killing machine (especially in TSL, with his Assassin Protocols as feats), and looks great in rusty red. What else needs to be said? The only thing I didn't like in TSL was that you could hardly gain any influence with him without making DS choices.
Sabretooth Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 The reason is, we need somebody coming in from one version to another, to brief us on what happened during the time gap. Having a sentient just wouldn't work. That's why we need an insensitive, all-telling, all-knowing robot.
Canderous_ordo1 Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 well i recon keep hk-47 its very great and the meatbag statement is very funny it just wouldent be kotor without him so just think he is in it

Quoted for truth. *looks at Darth Manus' avatar* That movie was f*kin awesome, BTW.
igyman Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 When I saw this thread I just had to check it out and I couldn't believe what I saw - two people actually voted for HK's destruction! Now, that's just weird! Who would want HK gone? He is a MUST for KoTOR!!
Darca Lar Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Ya gotta have another droid other than the teeny tiny, yet sometimes useful, T3-M4 astro droid. The HK droid is a more manly kind of droid with the BIG guns and so on....what im saying is, HK-47 must stay!
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Two votes to get rid of him? MADNESS!I shall smote them.
Maverick5770 Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Getting rid of HK is as stupid as Getting rid of T3. You would get rid of 3PO would you? Besides HK is better than 3PO, he not only can do everything 3PO can (aside from complaining about violence) plus he can blow some sentients head off. Can you get any better than that?
Reclaimer Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Keep. He's essential to the game. Now, out of the 73 people who've voted, only two say destroy... *Tries to find the anti-HKers*
Maser Splinter Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I voted to keep him, but I can totally see why people would want him gone. His humour would be kind of old to be in a third game...
