lukeiamyourdad Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Dark Knight for sure. Iron Man looks great. Indy IV because it's Indy IV. And Rambo. Looks dumb, but heh, I still need my dose of mindless bloody violence every once in a while
Serpentine Cougar Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 In order of anticipation: I am Legend (comes out in January where I live) Batman Harry Potter Narnia
Negative Sun Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Iron Man looks great. I really hope they get Tony Stark just right in this movie, they certainly cast the right guy for it though...
HerbieZ Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 1:Star Trek (Is released Christmas Day 08) 2:Cloverfield 3:The Dark Knight 4:Indy 4 5:Rambo
King Dando Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull springs instantly to mind. Actually, it's the only one that does spring to mind. =)
thegreatjoshini Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Dark Knight and Iron Man for me. I saw the first six minutes of TDK on some movie news website about a week ago and impressed me quite a bit. Heath Ledger will definitely be a good Joker. edit: just watched the trailer for "Be Kind, Rewind". Definitely going to see that in theatres.
spinkle Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Indy and Prince Caspian were the only two on my list until I realized that Half-Blood Prince would also come out next year. Re: Batm[e]n...Although Bale's character is by far the most interesting and probably the best-acted of the series, I'm always going to have a soft spot for Michael Keaton's. It's some of the best acting of his career (if not his best movie--tho it's certainly out of character for him given the bulk of his resume) and I thought Tim Burton's direction, style and tone were completely appropriate to the series (or franchise, if you prefer). All that being said, I'm not too fired up about Dark Knight, at least not yet. I mean, how can it get better than weaponized hallucinogens?
El Sitherino Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 I mean, how can it get better than weaponized hallucinogens? Hell yeah, LSD cannon.
Ferc Kast Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 My list is short: 1) Half-Blood Prince 2) Prince Caspian 3) Dark Knight
montnoir Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Why does the actor say his name is GHASPian, in the trailer? I thought his name is Caspian... is it a british thing, perhaps? Oh yeah, Indy 4 is the only movie on my list.
Totenkopf Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 As far as seeing on the big screen goes, Indy and Iron Man. If Bond looks good might consider that as well as Batman. Same goes for Hulk. Mostly wait the few extra months for everything to hit dvd anymore.
Bee Hoon Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Prince Caspian:p Was also looking forward to Vantage Point, but alas, I don't think I'll have the time to see it:(
Shem Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Batman, Indiana Jones, and the new Star Wars movie so far that I can think of.
Astrotoy7 Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I have to admit, I havent had a movie droolage thang going since EpIII. Indy will be interesting, but I dont ponder its impending release every day. I guess its the Clone Wars CGI opener thats highest on my list. mtfbwya
*Don* Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Batman, Indiana Jones...oh and I guess I can add 10,000 BC to the list as well.
stingerhs Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 well, so far there hasn't been much i've wanted to see except Cloverfield (which i didn't get to see), and The Bank Job which came out this weekend. hopefully, the rather uneventful start will culminate into one heck of a good summer. its not like there isn't some good stuff on down the line, either. in fact, if i've got my info correct, May is going to be one of the best times of the past couple years for some big movies. coming in May: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (May 22) Iron Man (May 2) The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (May 16) and The Dark Knight was also supposed to come out in May, but the release date might be pushed back due to Heath Ledger's passing. other movies i'm looking forward to: WALL-E The Incredible Hulk
Aash Li Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Indy 4 Love Guru 10k BC (sounds interesting) So far thats it.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Bank Job was a pretty good movie. Definitely one of Jason Statham's better movies I'd say.
Rogue15 Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 10000 bc looks awesome and i wanna see batman 2 and ****in chronic of narnia 2 yo it's bee awesome!!!!
Negative Sun Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 The Incredible Hulk I really hope they don't botch this one up! But since they've got a better cast and an actual Marvel production team, it might actually be worth watching this time around... 10,000 BC looks ridiculous IMO
