From the second batch of variations I like the second from left in the top row. The only suggestion I would make would be to include a detached triangular 'spike' in the mouth area, perhaps in a different colour (grey or red would look neat). I could it whip up for you if you want to see what I mean.

For now I've gone with the 3rd on the top row of the second image. I can always change it later though if it doesn't work out.

Anyways, I'm considering working with somebody to develop some custom music tracks for the mod. If anybody is talented with stuff like that, and is willing to work with me on the project to develop some music - Don't hesitate to get in touch with me via PM or email (See the read-me's from my mods for this).

Otherwise, can anybody suggest some video game music communities where I might have a better chance in finding somebody?

Hmm, the site listed in that post is the website of Mark Griskey, who was the composer for KOTOR2. And I'm not interested in actually paying someone to compose music, assuming he would even compose music for mods in the first place. :p

Obivously I'd need to see if he's any good for myself first, so if you could provide some samples of his music?

I'm quite good at music Silver, what sort of music are you looking for?

At the moment a theme for a character, which is pretty common in RPG's. And if that goes well, then possible more.

I'd like to see what the composer is capable of before they join the project, so If you have any samples of your work that I can have a look at, PM/email them me.

Looks like the ships of Space Invaders :xp:

Middle bottom!

Agree - on both counts. Seriously nice work, Silver.

You know, if you keep releasing content like this, no one will ever stop Malak at the Star Forge. The Republic is doomed. (I never liked them anyway)

It’s amazing that you do this on your own. Still, I wish I could help in some way... hey, if you need pizza ordered, I’m your girl! ;) I’ll return to my lurking. I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work.

Happy hunting!

Did you try the free audio section at http://www.newgrounds.com ?

No, I was under the impression that newgrounds was limited to flash movies. I've had a quick look anyway, and it's got a nice collection - It seems like a decent place to find a track, or somebody to compose a track. Thanks for the link.

It helps that I seem to have developed a fanatical devotion to completing the mod, otherwise I probably would have quit a long time ago. :p

Still, progress will slow down somewhat for the next 5 weeks or so. I've got my end of year workload to complete, plus GTAIV. :p

Anyways, here are some comparison shots for an area of the Korriban Wastes and it's original Dantooine equivalent. The different is pretty huge.

Dantooine View

Korriban Wastes View

Dantooine View 2

Korriban Wastes View 2

Also, I'd like to thank Quanon for the excellent collection of rocks that he modelled. They are used to replace the numerous trees that just wouldn't fit in that type of environment.

There are free samples to download on his website ;) (Some from films, like Narnia etc) I wasn't actually suggesting you pay for music :p

I'll get the links to some of Sams youtube stuff....

Awesome work on the Module skinning btw; you really wouldn't recognize them :)

  • 3 weeks later...

Update time;

Recently there haven't been many updates for BoS:SR. Truth be told, I haven't been working on it for the past few weeks due to the fact that I've been bombarded with lots of end of year university assignments and stuff.

Anyways, now a good deal of it has been done - And time wise what remains is easily managable, I've found time to work on the mod.

Here's another brand new screenshot of an area not previously seen in any released media so far. :)

When Quanon and Silveredge 9 work together, nothing can go wrong ( I think :xp: ). Awesome :thmbup1:

How many Korriban Wastes will there be?

1 Korriban Waste - 3 modules worth within it.
