The Ultimate Band

Recommended Posts

I was thinking, alot of people on here like music, and I wondered, what woulb be there Ultimate Band. Just choose a Lead Singer, Lead Guitarist, Rhythm Guitarist(If you want one) Bassist and Drummer. Simple, no?

Vocalist: Either David Draiman from Disturbed, James Hetfield from Metallica, or the Scorpions lead singer

Lead Guitarist: Gotta be Eric Clapton, best guitarist in the world IMO

Rhythm Guitarist: James Hetfield, from my fav band Metallcia

Bassist: The late, great Cliff Burton, again from Metallica

Drummer: The drummer from All That Remains, my fav drummer and best IMHO

mine's going to be a bit unorthodox, but hey-de-ho. don't go in for all the 'greats' myself.

Vocals: Guy Garvey of Elbow.

Lead Guitar: Matt Bellamy of Muse

Guitar: Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead

Bass: Colin Greenwood of Radiohead

Drums: Richard Jupp of Elbow

backed up by the Elbow Choir and Amiina on strings.

That would be such a wet dream.

Dammit. I would say something along those lines as well. Now I gave to come up with something else... :D

Vocals: Chris Cornell (In matters of technique, one of the best singers)

Guitarist(s) (Lead and backup): Eric Clapton and/or John Mayer (got rather fond of the latter's contribution to Fall Out Boy's 'Beat it')

Piano: Sir Elton John

Drummer: Phil Collins. Best.

Vocalists - David Draiman and Amy Lee

Rhythm guitarist - Paul Stanley (absolute fav)

Lead Guitarist - Ted Nugent or Steve Morse

Bass - Flea

I was going to take my favorite singer from my favorite band and put him with different people.. but then I realized... He would not go well together with any other musician so I had to just pretty much put my favorite band down.

Guitarist: Adam Jones

Drummer: Danny Carey

Lead Vocals--Robert Plant, Sheryl Crow (so many to choose from)

Lead Guitar--Eric Clapton (Okay, call me a conformist)

2nd Lead Guitar--Joe Walsh (With so many great guitarists, why settle for one? He did a great job of working with two others in Eagles)

Bass--Adam Clayton (without a doubt, the best bassist ever)

Rhythm Guitar--John Lennon (mostly for his songwriting)

Keyboards--Keith Emerson (May not work well with the others, but, man, can he play!)

Drums--Neil Peart (nuff said)
