Burnseyy
Does anyone remember watching a cartoon film called "Anastasia" about the russian royal family? because hardly any of my friends seem to have heard of it!
zelda 41
I remember C: Although if you asked me what it was about, I'd draw a blank. I haven't watched it since I was at least 9.
Nedak
Nope, but I do remember a movie with little Forrest Creatures. good times.
Burnseyy
I haven't watched it since I was about 6 or 7 or something! But it's the best kiddie film
sekan
I have seen the beginning of the movie but that was a while ago so I remember almost nothing about it.
EnderWiggin
I think I saw it once.... however, not in many years. _EW_

The Seeker
yeah I know it. Ana was voiced by Meg Ryan IIRC. Very intriguing and off the beaten path for a kids movie. Good stuff
Meowster
I watched it a week ago. <_< >_>
Sabretooth
Man, I remember this from when I was a kid, don't even remember how old. I remember seeing TV spots of it and I was like totally excited because it was an animation film. What happened to it? Reminds me of A Bug's Life, which was probably the first English movie I've seen in the theatres. Never seen or heard of it anywhere since. What happens to these movies? Why do they just disappear into nothingness?
Bee Hoon
I loved it! I still have "At the Beginning" on my playlist:)
Eefluxx
I found it for my sister last year for her birthday. Tho I did look for it the previous two years before that. Could always find it when it wasn't her birthday. I finally bought it five months before her birthday and just hung on to it before giving her the movie. She was happy Eefluxx
jawathehutt
I think I watched parts of it 4 or 5 years ago as part of a russian history unit, I remember it made rasputin into a bit more than just creepy old guy who had sex a lot.
Jae Onasi
Yep, saw it a long time ago. Apparently it was forgettable because I didnt' remember it til now.
mimartin
I've seen it, the only thing I remember about it was that Meg Ryan was the voice of the older Anastasia and John Cusack also did a voice.
Samuel Dravis
Yes, I remember it. They find Anastasia in the broken-down palace and they try to make her look like the "real" Anastasia in order to collect on some type of reward, and Rasputin was both clearly evil and ridiculously incompetent (like most villains ). Ravnas
At first I thought this was about the Rasputin Illuminati conspiracy, I was sorely disappointed:indif: But as to the actual film, I watched it once when I was babysitting a baby cousin of mine. I was indifferent to it at best.

Quanon
Remember the characters, IIRC, there was alsp this little bat that could talk and would be the stereotypical "funny-moment" character.
igyman
It's a pretty good cartoon. I remember it, the evil undead Rasputin and that bat, whatever his name was. But it's the best kiddie film Nope, that would be Lion King.

Inyri
Anastasia is awesome. I got to watch it all the way through for the first time last year. My sister (18) and I love it dearly, and they played it about a dozen times in the span of a couple weeks last summer. <
Astor
I hate to admit this, being, after all, a pretty much grown man (almost ), but I love animated films, like Anastasia, and especially Pocahontas. I just love the detail and the stories, they're just awesome.
Inyri
I had an urge to watch Pocahontas a couple weeks ago, but apparently that's one of the (few) Disney movies we don't have on VHS. I need to go to Blockbuster...
Ctrl Alt Del
@Burnseyy: Your friends do remember it, they're just too shy to admit they watched it monthly. Anastasia is awesome. It is. I think I've watched it a few times, but it's a very likable movie indeed.
