Although "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" was another one of my favorites. The Breakfest Club always reminded me of my experiance as a teenager in the 80's. The Breakfast Club gets my vote.

Maaann, detention was always a b***h. Baah......down with the teachers I say! :swear:

"We don't need no eeducaaation."

"TEACHERS....Leave us the hell alone."

Sorry... I had a PinK Floyd moment.

Edit: Oh, and R.I.P John Hughes - R.I.P.

R.I.P. John Hughes.

His films are modern American classics IMO and I'll always love 'em.

Meh? Why was Home Alone 2 not included? #2 at least isn't nearly as abominable (if at all) as its predecessors. I'll just vote other. I like Ferris Bueller's day Off, Mr. Mom, H.A. 1 & 2.

59? Maybe not spring chicken but certainly too young as well. Bummer.

In recognition I post up some deleted scenes of Home Alone

Why was Home Alone 2 not included?
For the same reason I did not include Christmas Vacation, as we all know the only sequel better than the original was The Empire Strikes Back. :xp:

Really I did not have room to add all his movies. For me Christmas Vacation, Uncle Buck and She’s Having a Baby were painful to leave off the list.

I went with Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, but any of the is a good choice IMO, well with the exception Pretty In Pink. liked the song though

^Very sad, but true. :(

I had to vote for The Breakfast Club. I think that it made the most lasting impression of any of his films.

He was a talented guy. It's sad that he died at such a young age.
