manoman81
Sorry if this has been talked about before. I'm looking get a different media player for my music I have on my copmuter. Right now, I'm using QCD 4.1 (I think that's the version). I'm happy with it. Its easy to use and has easy MP3 ripping so I don't have to search or pay for plug-ins. I like winamp, but I've heard off massive spyware that comes with it. Haven't been able to confirm that yet. Does anyone know of one that might be better with these options? Tyrion
http://www.foobar2000.org/ Extremely clear music, and hardly hogs up any cpu cycles(unless you use Dithering, but it already has a warning about that).
Samuel Dravis
I use Winamp3, and either WMP9 for movies, and Realplayer for streaming videos/audio. I haven't found any spyware with Winamp, and haven't had a single problem with it.

TiE23
I use Quick Time the most when its available, you can watch it load and play before it finishes loading, and you can jump from different parts of the movie instantly. I like WMP9 to, but I like QT much better. TiE

The_One
Windows Media Player for everything. Quality music player. Nice features, great music library organisation And it hardly uses any resources, and has never crashed for me Can't beat it.
Treacherous Mercenary
I use Winamp 5 for music, organization, and quality. Quicktime or Windows Media Player for videos, but sometimes WA5 for the DivX videos and it works, usually that is.
Sabretooth
I use WMP9, QT6 and Realplayer 10. I don't like Quicktime, it's kinda lame, but still good. WMP9 is the most durable and no crahes, bugs etc. ever ecorded from it. Currently I'm a Realplayer fan, because of it's quality and easy-to-use UI. Master_Keralys
I usually use RealOne for my music stuff, though occasionally I do use Windows Media Player. I like either QuickTime or Media Player for movies, typically QuickTime for streaming stuff. I mostly use Paint for photo editing type stuff b/c it's the only decent program I've got to use for it.
