ChAiNz.2da
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- The wars aren't over for "Star Wars" creator George Lucas. Lucas said Wednesday he's making an animated TV series of "Clone Wars" that could air next year, although he hasn't sold the show to a network yet. http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/10/05/people.lucas.ap/index.html ummm... yay! Diego Varen
I saw the Clone Wars advertised and didn't like the look of it. So I've never seen it. I might watch it though, it's just the animation has put me off.
Jason Skywalker
Yeah, i always liked 3D. Hopefully, this will show ALL of the Clone Wars, and not some tiny tidbits like the 2D series.
mimartin
Pottsie you really should give them a shot, I for one really enjoyed "Cone Wars". Thanks for the information ChAiNz2da that made my day. I would rather it be within a different time line, say between “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope”, but I'm not going to complain. Any new material is good news! (well as long as it not the Jar Jar Binks show).

Also, even though I don't hold anything against Jar Jar, I doubt Lucas would even think of making a Jar Jar Binks show.
HerbieZ
I really do think this cg escapade is going to be terrible. I just keep imagining that awful starships troopers spinoff cartoon and the wooden animation in that.
Jeff
Woohoo! I don't really know how this would be a continuation, didn't the clone wars series end right where RotS started?
Jason Skywalker
Yup, but i believe this is like almost the whole year that passed between AOTC and ROTS.
CSI
Clone Wars? Isn't it in Cartoon Network's? I can't remember the exact name, but I seen it on TV...And you can purchase Season 1 and Season 2 in Fry's... I hope I'm mistaken, but I'm not sure. Q
^^^ This will be a different series done with 3D CGI. I'll definitely check it out.
Commander Obi-Wan
I bought and have the ones made a couple years back that was right before Episode III. But, this sounds cool.
Davinq
(well as long as it not the Jar Jar Binks show). Shame on you. And shame on Lucas for not posting pics of the animation. I only like some 3D. Pixar is horrific IMO.

Vaelastraz
Generally I'm a huge fan of cg movies, especially from Pixar and Dreamcast. But starwars doesn't suit it imo :/
HerbieZ
Dreamcast. Dead consoles eh. SuperRodian, get my gun. Vaelastraz needs to be taught a lesson.

Negative Sun
Generally I'm a huge fan of cg movies, especially from Pixar and Dreamcast. But starwars doesn't suit it imo :/ I dunno, have you seen The Incredibles? I thought that couldn't work but it's an amazing movie, I'm sure they can do something similar/better with the Clone Wars series...
