Your non-Kotor/SW hobbies?

Recommended Posts

Mine- Rollerskating (well not really a hobby more like a fun pastime/activity)

Painting (I just bought a whole slew of paint, canvas brushes etc as I've been neglecting my other creative outlet)

Writing - things that are not vaguely SW related but usually with some sort of SciFi'edness about them.

I don't know if watching films and cheesey sci-fi tv shows counts as a hobby but I do an awful lot of it.

I also do a lot of social/after hours organising at work including a Supper Club and a Bowling Club (as in ten pin)

as far as actual hobbies go:

programming computers

building computers

working on cars

racing cars (at the circuit, not the street)

creative writing

gaming

and i used to spend time building airplane models. i have quite a collection of various military aircraft with my masterpiece being a 1:72 scale Enola Gay (the B-29 that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima). unfortunately, i just recently sold that model to a collector since i'll be moving soon, and those models are a pain in the arse to keep intact during the whole moving process. my other models are probably going to go on sale in the coming garage sale as well. :(

Hobbies, hmmm... let's see...

Going out with friends (which includes going to parties, to play pool, to the disco, hitting on girls my age and failing, but it's all good fun)

Playing games on my good old PC

Occasional fic-writing

Occasional banner/avatar/sig-making

Studying (well, this isn't a hobby, but it does take a lot of my time. College, what else can I say?)

Programming, movies, breaking my xserver, Tai Chi (as of late), Japanese (I'm aiming to memorize roughly 15 kanji for both recognition and reproduction each week).
What programming languages do you know? I'm taking Java right now and I know Basic. And then for web stuff I know xhtml/css stuff and a little php.

As for my hobbies, I play football and basketball when they're in season, and then I enjoy working on websites and forums in my spare time.
