Grand Theft Auto IV - deeper characters; 'realism' in a lot of features; nice small touches; story better linked

Final Fantasy VII - first one in 3D (iirc); Final Fantasy XII - infinitely superior to X. Great implementation of spoken dialogue.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - the modern theatre was a welcome change, and excellently performed.

Starfleet Command III - TNG era; good storylines for Federation, Romulans, and Klingons; better interface

Yuris Revenge

Age of Empires 2 conquerors

Jagged Alliance 2

Diablo 2: LoD

Personaly i though it ruined much of the game, and stopped played online when it came

@Sabretooth: blaspheme, the first UT is the best :xp:

Hmm, well there are alot of good sequels out there, so to list a few

Starcraft: Broodwar - What would Starcraft be without it expansion ?

Baldurs Gate2 - IMO so much better then BG1

Fallout2 - Not as a big diffrent between BG1 and BG2, but i think Fallout2 still is better then Fallout1

Heroes of Might and Magic3 - Better then all the other games in the serie, prequels and sequels combined:xp:

Team Fortress2 - Hmm, really don't know what to say, but i love the style of the game and no class is really good in the game, all have there weakneses and strengths

Battlefield2 - Well, spend around 250h with it, so i guess i though it was pretty funny when i played it <.<

It had its original flavour alright, hell I should give it a spin sometime, just for the nostalgia. But after playing Onslaught I really can't go back, it's the greatest UT gametype ever, especially with ONS-Torlan. :D And no sane man will question the fact 2004 is miles better than 2003. :p

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I loved Twilight Princess too, though while it had a pretty epic story, it lacked quite a lot of other things. Is it the best "next" (since most Zelda games aren't actually sequels) Zelda game?... I dunno, I can't say that it is. I value all of the 3D console Zelda games though. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess. All brilliant in their own ways. But then... in the end, is has there actually been a bad Zelda game? (Except for the CD-i ones... they don't count lol.

MGS 4

MGS4 was aright, but MGS3 is hands down the best in the Solid series.

Resident Evil 4

Whole-heartedly agree.

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption

Sorta agree... controls and gameplay is excellent... but it was too damn linear. The first Metroid Prime was a lot less linear and then MP2E got a lot more linear and then MP3C was rediculously linear that it took all the thought out of it completely. I hate how they try to appeal to people who hate stuff like backtracking when backtracking is a staple of the Metroid series.
